Purchased 3 boxes of sushi as takeaway. It was all really cold, straight from a very cold fridge, it was unpleasant to eat. No chopsticks, 1 tiny packet of soy sauce, wasabi, pickle. Everything a bit squashed and stuck together. This is not authentic Japanese. A Japanese chef would never serve this.

It looks exactly like what it is... but-.its not. I was curious about the Ramen, and it came out looking exactly like the Ramen of my dreams. steaming hot, shoyu type broth smelling of chickenie goodness (see the photo) it even had the seaweed poking out sideways at a jaunty angle.
I tucked in with a pure joy that only a Ramen can bring me. The broth was light and full of flavour. But that's where it ended. and I realised... it looked like exactly what it was- A Ramen- but it wasn't.
the noodles were thin, broken and didn't fill the bowl. I mean who skimps on noodles? instead of folding under the veg and emerging triumphant. they sat at the bottom looking sad and lonely. the egg was dry and well cooked without the soaking of Soya sauce you can get at Yalm (Great Ramen- Great people) none of that gooey yellow yummness that makes you warm.
The meat was overcooked and unbalanced in the flavoursome sauce.
I had a wonderful rice beer that made me happy. Yo sushi ? was never authentic. But they can cook!
just not Ramen.

Far too over priced. The quality of the food does not match the price tag at all. For example at a chain like itsu you get so much more for the price as well as better quality. I ordered the seafood ramen which was pictured with large pieces of squid. I had two tiny rings of squid. Left feeling rinsed honestly.
We had two main dishes and 3 tiny sushi plates for £67 ?

I used to love Yo Sushi but was thoroughly disappointed. Sticky table, vague smell of warm ale (?!!!), food rather bland, little choice on the kaiten, polite service but rather slow, toppings looking tired and not tasting fresh. Way overpriced!

A deeply disappointing lunchtime experience. Over the previous 15 years, across the U.K., we?ve had positive experiences at Yo! Not today.
On arrival (we hadn?t booked) we were quickly shown to the bar eat, which should have set alarm bells ringing. Walking round to the seats the floor was greasy and extremely slippery. The bar appeared clean but there were the stained remains of old napkins on the surface, along with sticky menus and specials cards which took up the space where plates and drinks would go.
Orders were taken and we were only informed that there was no hot seafood option after our other dishes started arriving, rather than when we arrived, or when we ordered. The belt was sparsely populated with dishes, which was surprising given that it was well in to lunchtime when we sat down. The portion sizes of dishes taken from the belt were tiny and had minimal filling; what filling there was, was cunningly disguised to look significant rather than be worthwhile and there was no pride or finesse in the preparation or presentation of the majority of the dishes, some of which completely failed to match the menu descriptions, being poorly prepared and with missing ingredients.
The final insult was a 10% Service Charge which was tacked on to the bill. As we left my wife turned to me and said, ?That was ****!? and I couldn?t agree more.
All-in-all a deeply disappointing experience and I will be extremely resistant to ever eating at Yo! again. In fact I?d advocate any fast-food chain over Yo! in future: at least you know exactly what you?re getting there.

The fish is sliced so thinly, you could almost read a newspaper through it. Prices are very high for what you get.

Had to be sure before making this review, but definitely got food poisoning after eating here. Staff gave poor service, which has happened on multiple occasions. I even saw one member of staff coughing into his hand and not washing them afterwards and coughing over a stack of plates he was carrying. I stopped eating after seeing that, put me right off.
I?d suggest avoid as it?s not worth it, and I will definitely not be returning. If you want yo sushi, better off getting it from the supermarket.

Usually great but has seen to have taken a downturn in recent months. I tend to order click and collect so I can pick up and go, but am often found waiting 20+ minutes for my order despite ordering an hour in advance. Staff are clearly overworked and understaffed as I see no more than 2 waiters each time I go.

Excellent and freshly prepared food with speedy service. Reasonable value considering sushi is expensive anyway. However the last two times we've been, the place has been filthy. The bar, cutlery, and menus were all dirty and sticky. Seems the place doesn't have enough waiting staff to clean up between customers.

Food is really lovely. My family love going there not just for food but for experience as well. However, we've been twice now and they always open 30 minutes later than what they publish on the website.

Been to many japonese restaurants before for sushi and never seen such terrible food. For £50 expected a lot more and more flavour to it.
