We decided to book our flights to USA through the Virgin travel agent in Norwich, we had searched on-line for a while and for our own piece of mind, it made sense to speak to someone.From the onset we were very impressed with the service and attention we received from Rebecca; initially each agent was busy with customers, Rebecca took the time to welcome us and suggested we take a seat and wait while she or one of the other agents could help us, she assured us she wouldn?t be very long.True to her word, we only had to wait about 10 minutes. Rebecca offered us a hot drink and biscuit, which was very welcome. We knew where we wanted to fly from and to, and of course the dates. She navigated the website and booked our flights, seats and luggage allowance.We were very impressed with the service we received and would highly recommend booking a holiday through the Norwich Virgin travel shop and we will certainly do so again in the future.Thank you Rebecca ?

Went into the Norwich store to book our holiday on 11th November for next year. We were slightly early for our appointment with Carly and was offered coffee and snacks while we waited. Carry was held up with her first customer so we were directed to another member of staff. All the staff came across very professional but friendly and very informative nothing was too much trouble.At 11am the stopped what they were doing to honour the 2 minutes silence.I would recommend the Virgin store in Norwich10 out 10 for service

Absolute joke very uninterested member of staff didn?t listen to what we wanted. Could not spell the destination or for that matter read it on her screen?? Mr Branson your brand is know for quality and excellence. You may want to review your staffing policy in your norwoch branch. I wanted to book a holiday which will cost between £6-8k. To be told by your members of staff to look online yourself is an absolute joke, but duly noted and will book elsewhere.

I feel a bit sad to be writing this review of Virgin Holidays Norwich. But I want others to go in more informed than us if planning a fly drive to the USA.We have recently been on a long holiday, multi destination trip across America. Starting in Seattle, travelling through California, Nevada, Utah, then flying across to Chicago - Nashville. We booked upper class and premium economy flights, and car hire (the problem) and booked accommodation ourselves.The service on the flight and in the lounges were fab! And the initial appointment and response times from the Norwich store very good and you are made to feel valued.But where we are so disappointed and frustrated is being upsold the car that we planned to book ourselves and not having the right advice we went in store to receive.We?ve had nearly $1000 in extra charges due to the locations we dropped our car off at, which was hidden in the terms that we signed there and then in the shop, but this wasnt explicitly explained to us during the exciting process of booking our hol. Our original plan to book the cars ourselves would have been so much cheaper, although it was represented as a bargain in the shop because these charges were left out. I received around £180 compensation when I complained direct to the shop about this upon discovering this 2 weeks before departure on a last check, but to be honest, with how much we spent with VA (plus having their credit cards), I?m pretty annoyed about this. They were even higher in the end than was hidden in the invoice!!The correct advice would have been - try to drop your car off in the same place (we definitely could have made that happen) or hire just one car and scrap the internal flight. Or, full transparency of the cost, which we would have done through Expedia and got a cheaper and transparent price, plus cash back.Just don?t get swept up and make sure you read instead of relying on what you are being upsold in the shop. Stick to the plan when booking, you?ll likely be right to do so.

We were first seen by Laura who was very helpful and sat us with Emily when we spoke about our Disney Holiday plans. Emily was very knowledgeable and really helped us work out our plans. We ended up booking our honeymoon for September 2024 and we got a fantastic deal. We must have been there for a few hours but that was only because we enjoyed chatting with the team so much. Having never been into a Virgin store or a holiday store in general I was genuinely so happy we went there. We would absolutely be going back there again in the future.
