Great pub. Really friendly and helpful staff. ??Tia couldn't do enough for us. Spent a hour on the phone to Booking.com and put us up for the night. Great atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful locals. There for the blues festival. Saw a great guitarist - Innes Sibun there.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour by management and owners of Red Lion. Two of the employees attacked two girls on a night while making racial remarks towards them. The owner refuses to acknowledge this incident and calls all multiple witnesses of these event liars. Shameful, disgusting, and racist behaviour.

Came in here today for 1st time as we just moved to the area. Great pub, great prices and atmosphere. lol was so brilliant. Bar staff top marks couldn't ask for more and and we will definitely be back . Thank you.

Listened to great band at Blues Festival. However the place was filthy. The ladies?toilet sink had clearly not been cleaned properly in days if not weeks, there was rubbish, paper and general dirt all over the floor (Sunday afternoon). The carpets were not properly hoovered in the bar and the place was caked with dust. Shame as it could be a lovely pub with just a couple of hours spent on cleaning each day.

Passed through Dereham a few weeks ago nipped in this pub for a quick beer great pint of moretti friendly landlady locals were sweet, better than the spoons opposite.
