I visited this pub a couple of weeks ago after the new revamp and was shocked to see such a difference in the atmosphere and standards from previous visits. For starters there are hardly any vegan options on the menu, which feels very outdated compared to other places nearby. The new male owner (wearing a pink shirt) came across as lazy, rude and intimidating. He spent a lot of time on his phone behind the bar, didn?t seem keen on serving customers, and even wandered around eating food instead of focusing on guests. It gave the impression that customer service wasn?t a priority. On the other hand the new lady manager who?s name I didn?t catch seemed much more approachable and friendly even if she was a little quiet. Not to mention the knockoff original hungry horse logo, tacky menus and AI looking bull and bean images makes the whole new revamp appear rushed and not very cared for. Overall it feels very different from how it used to be and personally believe there have been too many unnecessary changes to what used to be a relaxed family friendly pub to visit.

Very disappointing new menu. All 4 of us were disappointed. I tried the pizza- but tasted like it was cheap pasta sauce on dough. I didn?t finish it. We sat outside, and asked for salt and pepper, the barmaid told us someone would bring it out, and 20 minutes later nothing, so poor service too. Very disappointing, used to be quality food but gone downhill, won?t be returning

Nice quick lunch with the kids.
Nice play area, good atmosphere outside with tv?s and music. Good pub food at a reasonable price.

The food was awful. We had jacket potatoes and it was burnt; it was more like a Baby potato than a jacket! Pity as it?s close by where I live but sadly the food was a let down.

A pub masquerading as a burrito takeaway on deliveroo, and it shows. I ordered tacos and a burrito, both arrived as sad, soggy messes, sticky enough to build a new menu item called the 'Taco-Burrito Blob.' The tacos were actually glued together like some tragic arts and crafts project. The chips were the only thing worth a bite, but even then, they forgot the cheese sauce. If you're craving disappointment with a side of confusion, look no further. Don't forgot the warm can of coke.

Well looked after & presented establishment. Great staff. Bit more relaxed and quite during the day with a more lively but still great atmosphere in the evenings.
Not tried the food as yet but people say its just as good .
