I needed a pair of trainers, so I went to this branch of sports direct where I have shopped on a number of occasions in the past. After selecting a couple of models, I attempted to attract the attention of staff members who were very busy chatting amongst themselves. I also approached one woman who turned her back on me and walked away. I will not shop with sports direct again.

Bought a pair of slazenger trainers. 2 days of use and inner souls terrible/ defective . Took back to store with receipt and manager refused to give refund. Claimed normal for trainers! Terrible service and products (sports direct own slazenger) will never use again

Sorry but not good at all. They sell clothing with the same sizes varying far more than they should do, I buy 2xl jogging bottoms ect and they always have plenty of room, I bought some thermal underwear there and they were so small I couldn't even get them as far as my knees. I tried to call customer services but it doesn't exist so I went back to the shop, I told a manager that things made in China tended to be small and he unbelievably said I was being a racist. I could not get my money back so had to buy something else I didn't need (I will never go back so a credit note is no use). I decided to speak to the so called manager about being called a racist and when talking to him he recorded the conversation. If they are so woke why are they being agest ie not providing a phone line for there older customers who do not use computers. Disgraceful in my opinion.

Sports Direct provide absolutely no after-sales service. Definitely avoid shopping at this store?they simply don?t handle returns or refunds.
I had a very disappointing experience at your store today while trying to inquire about a return and refund. There were two main issues I needed help with. A young staff member with green hair initially assisted me. She was polite and genuinely listened to my concerns, but when she couldn?t resolve my questions, she asked the manager for help. Unfortunately, the male manager seemed inexperienced in handling such matters. He repeatedly answered one of my questions but entirely ignored the other one, showing no effort to understand my concerns. Then, he simply walked away.
As a first-time customer, it?s not reasonable to expect me to instantly understand your store?s policies. What stands out is the manager?s lack of listening skills, his failure to provide clear explanations, and his dismissive attitude. Walking away in front of a customer shows a lack of basic courtesy and service.

Buying football boots from here is painful. Understaffed with stock out the back taking an age to come out, if it's even in stock. Ended up buying online on my phone whilst in the store. Unfortunate. At least move the boots section nearer the stock room.

Not the best sports direct staff to busy chatting to serve any one left waiting ages just can't be bothered attitude. . Other sports direct in main city is much better

I had a disappointing experience here today. When I went to try on some clothes, I found the changing room upstairs was closed, so I was directed to go downstairs. I asked the staff at the tills if the changing room was open, and although one of the employees said he would help me shortly, he continued to serve other customers without updating me on what was happening. After waiting for several minutes, another employee finally opened the changing room for me.
Once inside, I was only allowed to take three items at a time with only one changing room available to all customers, despite having several clothes to try on. This limitation, combined with other customers waiting, made me feel rushed and uncomfortable. I didn't have enough time to decide on my purchases and ended up leaving the store sooner than expected without buying anything.
This experience was very frustrating.
