Normally really pleased with this branch of specsavers, been using them for years. Feeling really disappointed with some of the service we?ve received lately. 10 minutes late to a fitting appointment on a really busy Saturday to be told our slot had gone. Not really very good enough when we?ve spent over £500 between us in the last month.

Firstly all they tried to do is sell their products then because I booked on line they lost my records all 10 years of it. Then they left me sitting their for nearly 35 minutes after my appointment time it was like I was waiting for an NHS appointment.Too many staff walking around plenty of treatment room empty very little opticians.I over heard which option it was and then I overheard that their 12 o'clock appointment had arrived so it shows too many appointments not enough opticians

Not happy with a video link test and was not told it would be this until I arrived for my appointment and did not have the time to change it . I?m all for advancement in technology but this did not feel right . I also felt a little rushed too. On picking up my glasses the vision is awful and I now have to go back next week to get it rechecked ?somethings should be done in person . Front staff are lovely and the lady who fitted my new glasses was nice too just they are no good and worse than the ones I am wearing now which I had a test only a year ago . Optician on the video link was friendly too, just my new lenses are not correct so it?s either him or his assistant in the room that has not done it correctly. I?m not sure after I have had my new glasses sorted if I will return to Specsavers in all honesty and I have been a long term customer , I will see how the appointment goes next week . I will of course update this review in due course

I recently had an excellent experience at Specsavers for my eye test. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout my visit. Special thanks to Helen, Charlotte L, Bethany, Kurt, Mehwish and Valeriia for their exceptional care and professionalism. Their attention to detail and warm demeanour made the entire process comfortable and welcoming. I highly recommend Specsavers to anyone in need of eye care services.

professional and very efficient: from front of house staff to optometrists the practice runs very well. I have been using Specsavers for a very long time and have always been satisfied with the quality their service. Even now with many more patients their service remains expertly managed and the 'human touch' excellent.

Rating based on my experience in this branch Sun 28/01/24). As a constant spectacle wearer I regularly find I need a nose pad replacing and these have always been changed no problem and no charge, whether it be Specsavers (where I purchase my specs from) or a competitor optician or indeed an overseas optician when on holiday. Yesterday I was asked to give my name so the assistant could check to see when I purchased my glasses, in case they needed to charge me! She clearly did not want to assist or refer properly to a colleague, as even after confirming I would indeed be eligible for replacements I would have to wait 20 mins! Needless to say I told her to forget it and walked out in disgust (also bear in mind my specs cost over £400) Today went to my new local branch and nosepads were changed no questions within 1 minute. Glad I moved my account.

I recently had an appointment at Specsavers, and I'm pleased to say it was a positive experience. The service was excellent, and I was impressed with the efficiency of the staff. They were responsive to my needs, and the overall process was smooth. I left satisfied with the service provided.
