This is a nice garden centre with a cafe. We stopped by to have a drink and a snack and a look around, the prices in the cafe seemed reasonable and the staff friendly. The garden centre had everything you could ask for, they had a lot of Christmas stuff out and we did buy a couple of bits. The prices were on par with other garden centres, and it is a good garden centre for a browse around.

Went here with my two grandchildren (2 and 4) to see Santa in the Grotto. We went last year and it was great but this year's was even better. With the cost of everything art the moment (and the price of other grottos in Norfolk) this was well worth the money. The lovely Elf who met us at the entrance and took photos of us all with our phones was brilliant as were the other two elfs who explained what the Grandkids had to look for. The lights and animated animals were so good this year. Santa was really nice and chatty and the kids were so pleased with their gifts. The only downside was the cafe. Have been here quite a few times and the cafe is sadly lacking compared to the rest of the garden centre. Not sure if they are short staffed or had new staff but the service is so slow especially when you have two young children waiting!!!

We visited the grotto with two children, as we did last year and that was amazing.. we then walked around the shop and we bought a couple bits, no faults here? however when we decided to go in to the cafe is where it went wrong, last year we didn?t even attempt it but this year it was busy-ish but there was no queue at the till, so I ordered a kids meal and two paninis. The lady said there was around a 20 minute wait which was not a problem as I needed to sort out the baby anyway. 30 minutes past and I asked a young girl to chase up our food, she told me it was being made and would be out very soon.. the tables around us who arrived later were then receiving their food before us. Ten minutes later I asked again and was told it was on the way out, I said I was told that already and they apologised and checked the kitchen and gave me the same answer, it was on the way out, I gave them 5 more minutes before I said I?ve had enough and would like my money back as I had a hungry child who needed feeding and somewhere to be soon. The manager came out and again tried to say it was because they were busy and the food would be out soon, I told her she would be better telling the truth that the ticket was lost and we had been missed as everyone around us were eating already. She sorted the refund, which felt a little reluctant, and we left. We won?t return again next year, as great as the grotto is it?d be nice to make a day of it and the cafe simply isn?t being run well enough.

The cafe is a big letdown of this garden centre, staff were to slow and not organised they didn?t work as a team after ordering several meals one meal was 25 minutes late after others of my family had finished there food . This was the same problem last year but it seems nothing has changed. ROY?S the new owners please sort this out .

We attended "Breakfast with Santa" for our 4th year and yet again it seems to get better every year. The staff are brilliant with Santa's helpful Elf going the extra mile. The food was good and plenty of beverage refills Our 2 great grandchildren received lovely presents and hopefully wonderful memories.

Saw Santa with grandchildren, they loved it but I think Santa could do with feeding up. The restaurant/cafe let this place down. Minimal amount of overworked young staff leading to long queues and messy uncleared tables. This whole area needs upgrading and staffing properly. Cakes on the whole very good, but not impressed with hot food - I'm guessing overworked staff behind the scenes also.

Tea with Santa was truly magical. Santa & his Elf spent loads of time with the families & the Tea was Wonderful. Highly recommended. Your children will love it. I will definitely be booking again next year it?s FANTASTIC. Huge thanks to All the staff at Highways our little Gt. Grandson will always remember this Amazing Experience Thank you ?????

Took family out to dinner wasn't advised a delay but 50 minutes later my meal had not been served. Other members had had their carvery meal so spoke to a member of staff and was advised this would be done straight away. 30 minutes later still no meal. Complained again and requested refund this was given along with a refund for my dessert. Terrible experience from start to finish.

Bitterly disappointed. One friend asked for lasagna, jacket potato and soup none of which were available. She could have had soup but no sandwiches left as advertised and was told they couldn?t make one. Myself and another friend opted for the carvery. Are you ready for a long saga? At the till no one tried to take our order. A girl was standing right by the till but was intent on folding cardboard boxes and putting them into a trolley. Completely ignored us although we were only about 2 foot away. Another girl by the window saw us but carried on wiping a huge pile of trays. Finally another girl appeared and took our order. Moved to the carvery. No one serving. Waited waited??.. finally young boy came and said sorry to keep us waiting but he would be back soon. People behind us were getting impatient as were we. Boy went into kitchen came out carrying a jug which he delivered to a table. Yes we thought our turn but no he disappeared into the kitchen again. Came outwith tray of roast potatoes. Emptied it onto serving tray and took the one he was holding back into the kitchen! Finally came and served us. However it doesn?t end there. No parsnips and told none left at all. No stuffing and no gravy. Looked to ask boy for more gravy but he had disappeared again. Finally appeared and said he would get more gravy. Back into the kitchen he went. After waiting for several more minutes we gave up as the food we had on our plates was now cold. Asked for a refund but were told we could have a free drink which in actual fact would have cost us the price of the carvery we hadn?t had. Refused this and then had to wait for several more minutes before someone came from the kitchen. Most apologetic and we finally got our money back. Took our trolley loaded with purchases to the Way Out till. You guessed it no one serving. Person was restocking shelves She saw us but again we were ignored. Waited waited and finally gave up. So a sale was lost and we didn?t have the items we wanted. Appalling customer service or I should say complete lack of it. We visit regularly and have never before had treatment like this or reason to complain. Don?t know what has happened for this downfall in such a short space of time since our last visit. Very disappointing.

This is are fav garden centre, we love coming here for cup of tea & cake. We have gone to see Santa in his grotto and it was magical Going again this year :)

Wanted somewhere local for a breakfast, but we made the wrong choice..Egg shell in the fried egg, I had to look hard to select clean cutlery, if I hadn't ordered first we would have walked away...but the service was good and the food was a decent quality but its not cheap.. Needless to say I will not be returning...

Went to the coffee shop on Sunday afternoon. Service was poor. It took 24 minutes to get 2 pieces of cake and 2 hot drinks. Many tables not cleared and a lot of rubbish on the floor. Staff didn't seem to know what they were doing.
