Staff friendly enough. It is like stepping back into 2020 though as there is an extensive wall of perspex dividing staff from customers.I thought the charges were very high. My plain 3/4 length coat was £24.95. I think I was so stunned that I panicked and paid. I feel very ripped off and, in hindsight, should have tried elsewhere. Or bought a new coat.

Very expensive for the poor quality of alteration ! Two pair of trousers had to be shortened ( altered ) one stayed long as it was , the other had visible stitches from the machine on the fabric .Service: Alterations

Wow! The repairs are fabric wizardry... the time, skill and care is obvious. Neat sowing, careful matching of style and colours. Very, very happy. Came in for another minor jacket repair on the offchance it was possible and it was repaired before I finished the sentence :)

I should have read the reviews before going there! Expensive, poor quality and no customer / people skills. Will not be going back!

I am leaving this review for two things - quality of work and customer service. The former is good, they've provided a consultative approach and amended my suit as requested. I am not sure how was other peoples' experience. Yell reviews suggest they're not so great. I was referred to them by Moss, they carry out all of their work. Now onto the customer service side of things... I am not of British origin, immediately I felt a little bit "off". It seemed like she wasn't as pleasant with us as she was with a couple that just left, and was British. But it's hard work, it was a Saturday, so I brushed it off, thinking maybe they had a long week.My wife (of different skin colour) came a couple of days later to pick up the suit in my name, and she was mistreated greatly. She was looked down upon, spoken to as if she had "bad intentions", as the lady refused to be cooperative and try to find the suit or even consider it as a possibility, and simply shrugged it off and told her to go to Moss if that's where we paid for it to be altered. My wife is 25 years old, works as an accountant in an office and was well dressed, polite and kind, but was treated badly and looked down upon, in a way that was clear that the lady behind the counter thought she was lying about picking up the suit and wanted to steal one. And that was the opinion given by her British colleague who she was with, so we're not being biased here. The environment there isn't pleasant, there is this particular lady that seems discriminatory and racist. Their work may be good, but I don't think businesses with such behavior should be supported. Which forces me to leave this accurate review with hopes that this will stop someone from having a similar experience. There are other shops (just behind Moss, by the road) that offer a better level of customer service. Moss should reconsider their partnership as well.
