One of the nicer Prets I?ve visited, clean, well stocked with choice, friendly staff and the coffee was good! There?s seating inside or out and a lovely 2nd floor space if you want a bit of a quieter area! Recommend the salt beef in rye! Delicious. To answer Prets concerns here. A 3 star review is neither good or bad. The establishment, service and products are ordinary. Nothing bad about it, but equally, you'd struggle to write a sonnet describing the life changing events that occurred during your visit.Don't sweat it, it's what I expect from a corporate chain, I needed a location to chat with a friend over a coffee, it was fine, it covered all the bases like magnolia paint covers a wall.If anyone ever came away from here raving about it, I imagine they entered with incredibly low expectations.

Went to this shop this morning as a tesco had run out of sandwiches. I bought a little roll, diet coke and crisp and was charged just under £8. What the actual F?! £8??? No cost of living crisis at pret a manky! Just a stuck up atmosphere, abrasive staff and overpriced blah food. This isn't London guys, it's Norwich.

I love their coffee ??, I love Prets coffeeI infact debate with my friends, who fall in the ardent fan base of Starbucks and Costa coffee.I am not talking about chocolate or other calorie intense drinks, I am talking about their full-bodied taste of Black filter coffee, lite acidic tasting black Americano, rich velvety espresso, velvety and creamy Machiatto and Flat white(mostly with coconut milk sometimes with regular milk)It's written everywhere about the famous pret subscription, I was pulled into taking one, and so I took one.I don't load my belly with a lot of carbs with sandwiches, croissants, and other snacks, and so I hardly go for those.I feel guilty to order only coffee when ordering (obviously with my subscription), and all the times I ask them very very politely, everything I thank the Barista and also the person who takes my order.I really do not understand why their staffs behavior is unwelcoming. Somedays I don't visit their store at all and sometimes I visit 2-3 times a day.When asked for a smaller sized drink, the person(looked like a manager) looking somewhere responds, "we only do one size."The above is just one example. There are many such.Of all the stores I have been to in UK, this is the store with the most unwelcoming response.I must mention that all the other stores, irrespective of what they sell, they have all been most friendly and makes me feel welcoming.. except this one.I am sorry to express my feelings in this much detail here ... but I can not start picking up a fight in store. The store exists for a different purpose.Sorry, and thanks a lot again for all the wonderful coffee served.
