Went through a gap to pay and was TOLD to go through the lane , when not one other person was queing!. The sales person insisted we walked all round the lanes. We just dumped what we were going to purchase in the display racksand walked out. DEFINITELY WONT BE GOING BACK

I don't use this store that often, but on the last 3 occasions i have seen shoplifting and it was so easy for them. They fill up with what they want and walk out the entrance, the staff at the tills cannot see as it's all blocked off and there was not anything there as a deterrent. First occasion 2 teenagers walked in helped themselves to a meal deals and sweets and walked out. Second occasion lady with her husband took some deodorants dropped them into her bag and went, his rucksack was pretty full as well. Third time a lady helped herself to what looked like vapes and just put them in her pocket. I'm not using this shop again, not when i buy a couple of items and actually pay. They spend all that money on a refurb and no barriers to stop them going out the entrance.

Inadequate number of tills, resulting in excessive queuing. I have had to put my goods back on the shelf & leave via the entrance several times

A small Poundland but still has a variety of things to buy. It's a reoccurring thing now though, where they have all the self service tills turned off and only one person on check out. And they wait until there is quiet a big queue before coming to finally turn self service machines on.

New store is awful compared to the old store. Selection seems more limited and biggest issue is no self service checkouts. Ended up giving up waiting to be served for one single item and just left?. Either have more staff or bring them back!

What an awful new design. You can't get out if you haven't bought anything without getting in the queue.
The exit/checkout area is too small, so one aisle of the store is blocked with a queue.
If you try to go out of the entrance a piercing bleep sounds.
The constant loud bleeps are not neurodivergent -friendly.

They have removed the large bank of self service tills the old store had, and do not have enough staff manning the tills, so there are always massive queues. Never had to wait long in the old one.

Good selection but not as big as the one in Anglia square, cheap stuff although most stuff is not £1.00. Staff told me and my friend to stop and she said "stop this is not a playground" but we were just walking fast.
