Until today, I've never had a problem with this shop. However, I popped in at around half past 5 late afternoon and the man working behind the till, who I have previously had no issues with and thought to be a good natured chap, had a go at me for not fully wearing a face mask.I explained to him that I had mild asthma and don't usually wear a mask, as is my right - exemptions are, after all, allowed to cover such things as physical or mental ailments. He allowed me service at this time but said if I come back, I have to wear the mask fully. He also patronisingly asked me whether I knew the meaning of respiratory - on any ordinary day, given my qualifications are far above that of a mere shop jockey, I'd have retorted but I was shocked that this man, who I was on seemingly good terms with on past visits to the shop, could be so rude and so I left the shop, with my products but a little shocked.Not only will I never use that shop again but I will be putting a complaint in. Exemptions are there for a reason and even if this man thought he was in the right, he didn't have to be rude or condescending.

Hi, I would like to make an official complaint regarding the rudeness of the owner of Nisa Stores on North Walsham Road, Norwich, Norfolk. I visited the shop as I have done many times before to get things for my brother as he is in the ?at risk? group due to having diabetes amongst other health issues. We put a few of the items he asked for and a bag of plain flour for him and one for myself as I had not been able to get flour anywhere else. We went to pay for those items and were told only one per customer, that?s fine, but I was with my adult daughter and doing shopping for my brother. The owner then said ?only one per transaction? my daughter asked that she then pay for the second bag of flour on a different transaction-we were then told that as we came into the shop together, we counted as one person and he would stand and argue with us all day if that?s what we wanted! We were astounded at this rudeness at a time when people have been encouraged to help those at risk. I have been taking meds to all sorts of people that I don?t know purely because they can?t get out themselves, giving up my time, fuel etc in a hope I?m helping someone out but this guy won?t even let me buy a bag of flour for my at risk brother! I will never visit this shop ever again and will encourage other to do the same. There was no need for his attitude and rudeness and he should be ashamed of himself, is this how you want your company to be represented to the public? I now have no flour as I have given the one bag away to my brother!
