Of course, as I got the outcome I wanted, inevitably, I was going to rate with five stars...
That being said, the employee I spoke to (I believe Ian) was outstanding. I'm getting married in August and had purchased three of the four groomsman suits.when ordering the final suit online, the fourth one suddenly didn't have trousers so I ordered the jacket and waistcoat and headed to Next. They had it in stock but they couldn't sell it due to a business-wide manufacturing issue with that product and I may need to wait months before they're re-issued. I was absolutely devastated. Honestly, the way Ian apologised and 'had to let me down' was very professional and genuine and I appreciated it. He immediately dashed off an email to customer services and called back within half an hour and informed me I could come back and pick the trousers up. I was over the moon and it saved me an enormous amount of hassle around the wedding. To all the staff that helped me, and especially Ian, thank you.

Next have lost a customer today.
Went in to the store with partner and son (1.5 years old) my partner shopped for a while downstairs before we all headed upstairs to the men?s section, I went off to look for some new clothes whilst my partner kept an eye on our son. By this time he wanted to get out of his pushchair, he did, and he ran around never further than 2 meters away from my partner as they were playing. The store wasn?t busy around 5 couples or families in there, then a young shop assistance told my partner that the shop isn?t safe and to keep our child under control. Fine we thought, rude but fine, he wasn?t doing anything dangerous, but liability wise, sure if they don?t want it, that?s fine.
The real problem was when I went to the sale section where three members of staff were stood gossiping (where they had all been for some time) they said within earshot of me as they didn?t know I was the dad. ?That?s why I?ll never have kids? ?we should ban kids, this is the men?s section? and finally to ice this little cake of a visit ?they have no control over their kids?.
unfortunately I don?t have a name for you, but I can tell you that I hung up all of the clothes I had picked up and walked out.

I am awarding 5 stars for the customer service I received today. I wish I had got the lady's name but she went out of her way to try and find me some shoes and nothing was too much trouble even 10 minutes before closing time. Sadly, the Next product let me down by not fitting properly but I couldn't fault the lady for trying! Thank you, I hope you know who you are. ?

Lack of customer experience here is the reason shops are closing and people move online. I had a miserable experience of being serviced by Kathryn at this branch today, trying to return a gift my friend brought my daughter with an online delivery receipt. She refused to do anything, saying she couldn't, to be corrected by a colleague next to her. Then she only refunded the sale amount to my friends account and didn't offer a gift card. She was rude, had no eye contact, was unhelpful, and did not listen to any point I was making. Very poor. My friend called next, and they did refund the full amount, but what is the point of in-store service like this?

No staff on the floor and the woman near the shoes has no time or interest in helping anyone she much prefer to stand on her phone.

I was returning an item that my husband bought but did not fit him as the store is not opening the changing rooms because of the heat. The store has had unbearable heat for a few weeks now and I almost fainted. This is a health and safety issue for everyone and they should have fixed it by now now or shut the store !

P3.10.2023 Ladies sale rails on the right of entrance. Shoes at back. Good area for trying on shies, not cramped.Didn't manage to go upstairs but they always have a good range of children's clothing.
