Had a ribeye steak here with a couple of sides and was really pleased with the quality. The steak was cooked perfectly to medium (as asked for) and was probably the best cooked steak I?ve had. I was expecting a Miller and Carter sort of quality but this was above that! The sides are also a lot better here in quality and also selection and overall much better value. The menu in general looks really good and would definitely return the next time I?m in Norwich. Service was also really good and friendly.
Parking: Castle square parking 2 is right nearby and is open till midnight and cheaper in the evening

My friend and I enjoyed mains of Aberdeen Angus steak and macaroni cheese, both excellent choices. Thick cut juicy steak cooked medium rare and the macaroni cheese was tasty with small portions of toasted bread to soak up the sauce. The side dish of broccoli spears in butter/garlic was perfectly cooked. Not soggy or undercooked. Very good service and highly competitively priced. Will definitely return.

Booked table for 3 on Sunday night.We all ordered the 8oz Sirloin steak.2 medium rare,1 medium.All 3 steaks came out luke-warm.All 3 were also very dry,absolutely no sign of any juice at all.I am struggling to think how steaks can be this dry.For a steak restaurant,& at £22 each I do feel ripped off,hence the need to write a review which I rarely do.

I had the sirloin wellington and BBQ fries. It was absolutely amazing, I travel around the country for a living and this is the best food Ive had yet! This is a definite place to visit. Hopefully i am here tomorrow to have it again!!

Came out for our first meal as a married couple. Food and service was first class.Starters: Chinese Pork and Camembert, Mains: Wellington and Rib-eye highly recommended. Service provided by Luke, Ivona, Sam and Mark was great given it appears there wasn't enough cover for the volume of people, however their kindness meant our evening was still a pleasant one. Hats off to the other staff members running around on the lower floor and Chefs working their magic in the kitchen. 5* review only possible because of the team on deck. You don't mind the wait when you see everyone working as hard as they were. Great job team. From Mark and the pregnant wife who couldn't choose choose her seat because of the air con.

Went to Norwich for a couple of days with my wife. Our accommodation hosts recommended Middletons steak house in their blog so I booked a table. We were very disappointed, I usually don?t complain as I work in hospitality so know what it?s like! we arrived early and were promptly seated without fuss. It did take a while for our drinks order to be taken but the drinks then came over quickly. When we ordered we went straight to mains and ordered 2 steaks, 1 medium rare, the other well done! We then waited about 40-50 minutes for our food! It wasn?t even that busy. The waiter did come over and apologise about the wait and said our order was next(2 other tables got their food before us but he can?t control the kitchen) our food then came over and when my wife cut into her steak which was the well done one, there was a layer of pink through the steak. This put my wife off the steak and if we had of accepted a re-cooked steak it would have been a good while before it arrived and I would have finished mine(not the idea when you go out to eat together). This was dealt with reasonably well by the front of house team who took the meal and service charge off the bill.
What makes the experience so disappointing is that it is a fairly open kitchen and the chef cooking the steaks was picking up steaks on the pass with his hands rather than tongs and moving them between plates. He was clearly flustered and seemed out of his depth with a fairly quiet service, which was evident by him holding his head in his hands while looking at tickets. I would say that training is needed so that cooked food is not handled by hand in view of customers and that regular hand washing takes place as we didn?t see any hand washing taking place. Overall I would not visit again when we return to Norwich.

Bottomless brunch service was fantastic. We were so well looked after by Ivana (hoping I?m spelling it somewhat correct!) and she is an absolute credit to your team of staff. The food portions were brilliant and tasted great. The drinks were well made and brought out promptly. A great experience!

Me and my new Wife came to Middltons for our day after wedding meal, and what a delight it was, highly recommend this place, very kind, helpful and even brought over a celebration plate which was a lovely touch.

Waiting staff were pleasant, but the manager was rude. Bottomless brunch drinks very weak and few and far between. Food burnt. Not recommended

We were a group of 5 having a bottomless brunch. Chris our server was amazing !!
As soon as we sat down he got us a bottle of Prosecco. From then on he just kept rolling out the cocktails as soon as we had finished one he replaced it !!
We had done one in January but it wasn?t that good as the server wasn?t attentive at all and we had to keep asking for drinks.
The food was also so much better.
We had an amazing time and this was all due to Chris. Well done and thank you !
We would defiantly recommend doing the bottomless brunch !!

The service was friendly albeit I ended up being served by the guests at the table next to us because the waitress accidentally gave them our food. I had a Mexican burger and House Fries which tasted nice but the burger was a bit large to chomp down on and both were very messy. I didn't see any mashed nachos in it but assume they were part of the sloppy sauce. Nice environment but would not want to eat there again for a while.
