I love M&S Food but the dates are always rubbish normally only for use on the day you're visiting. You pay premium so you expect premium.

On the plus size the lady at the cafe who was managing everything was very pleasant indeed. Not enough staff so waiting for 10-15 mins to be served a coffee. Couldn?t have either a scone or pastry as they were uncovered and consequently had been walked all over by flies. The lady at the counter apologised and said she would feed back to management. Tables and floor dirty and cafe is indeed freezing cold. Must remember to not return here and to get a coffee in The Range next time.

Just went in today to get some scones and the fridge covers were shut. I know sometimes shops do this to keep things cold, so I went in to get some clotted cream. At the point a M&S worker approaches in a highviz and goes these are closed for a reason in a aggressive tone. I said oh sorry wasnt fully aware as there is no sign. Maybe instead of being rude and talking to someone aggressively you just put a simple sign saying out of order please do not use.

I would like to say what an asset Alex on the tills is to this m&s is.He is always so cheerful and helpful, nothing is ever too much trouble for him . Wish more shop assistants were like him

Cafe is very poor. Nonchalant staff with the speed of a striking slug.
Poor service. Over 60% of the tables were not cleared and cleaned. I won't be using in the future.

Girl at counter trying her best, and very polite but service incredibly slow. Tables dirty and sticky, floors covered with food. Older lady bringing orders to tables just standing there loudly asking who it's for, which makes me wonder why customers are given the number boards to take with them.
And for some reason, the cafe is freezing cold

I am in the coffee shop and the 2 members of staff have been very helpful and friendly as i am on crutches they helped me to a table can't ask for two better people

Not the best place. People still being served with trays when obviously there is no space for them to sit. It?s a busy Sunday.Toasted sandwiches are mown £6.Ask for cream on our coffee to be told ?we shouldn?t really do that?. How weird is this?Coffee isn?t nice, that be a regular vanilla latte.Ordered a scone, and they refused to heat it up.Just a strange feeling emanating from behind the counter. Weird policies. Nothing like your city M&S.Positive, the staff are polite.Only came here because costa was super busy.

My Mum and I were hoping to have a nice fried breakfast, but at 9.50am we were told the breakfast wrap was unavailable. We opted for the eggs benedict. We waited at the counter for our drinks, which were plonked on the counter with no communication at all. The food hall was freezing cold and the tables looked like they hadn?t been cleaned. Our food was brought over, with no cutlery and again no communication. On top of this the eggs benedict was barely warm. Overall it was not a very nice experience and I would have expected more from M&S. Maybe some staff training on customer service would be an idea?!
