What a joy! So refreshing to receive personal service where the team genuinely care about you as an individual. Sarah-Jane & the team are friendly & welcoming, whilst remaining professional in their approach at all times. Sarah-Jane is extremely knowledgeable, thorough & her attention to detail is outstanding. I was also impressed with her level of patience when advising & assisting me in choosing the Colour & Style for my glasses. As an Image Consultant this was most important for me to get right, which Sarah-Jane understood completely & I now receive many compliments about my glasses! A great advert for Sarah-Jane & her team. I was hesitant in going to an independent opticians, as I thought that the costs would be higher and there wouldn't be a good selection of frames. But I didn't need to fear. I was overwhelmed at the service I received from Sarah-Jane and her kind and friendly team. It really was the best eye examination that I have had. The selection of frames were fantastic and were surprisingly cheaper than I had expected. Thank you to all the team.

This was the best eye examination I've had in over a decade. I was put at ease, things were well explained and all staff were helpful and friendly. They were Ajay considerate of my limited budget. I'm very impressed with the care provided and look forward to returning. I also felt it was very Covid-safe with sensible precautions.

I really like the customer experience. Unlike most "health professionals" in my experience, who seem to like to talk down to you because they have a couple of letters after their name, here you get a very personal and friendly relationship.

I always value Michael and Helen's knowledgability and friendliness when I visit. M Shepherd are located locally to me and are able to offer eye tests, glasses and contact lenses - they'll order in whatever you need and let you know when they're ready to collect. Parking is easy in Long Stratton. Would recommend.
