Wonderful staff, excellent service. Helped me become fully banked upon moving permanently to the UK and helped me understand myriad elements of financial life here that were new to me. Good app and tech as well, but the people who work there are by far the greatest asset to this branch. Very happy and grateful I stumbled upon them as my primary banking institution!

My life and my money was controlled by my now ex husband. I suffered many different types of abuse over a course of 20 years, being married to a covert narcissist (it took therapy to help me realise this!)
To say I feel let down badly by Lloyd's bank, is an understatement!
We had 3 joint accounts and an isa each with Lloyds and apparently he was moving money around regularly from account to account for years and years, I only had access to my isa due to... firstly me stupidly trusting my ex husband, then to him constantly hiding money and changing passwords. Ending in me confronting him (after 20 years of marriage) and leaving him the same day, only to have every bank account emptied and closed without my consent or knowledge!
Lloyds told me that because they were joint accounts either one of us could do this!
To add insult to injury I found out that all the years I was told by him that we had very little money, (to the point where I had explain every penny spent! Because he would go online and know I spent for example £12. in Asda in Beccles! Which was on the children!) We actually had around £17,000 in the end! But it disappeared, just like my car because he had put a tracker on it, found it and took it using the spare key! The police could do nothing as it was all classed as a domestic. Three years later I am now in debt due to me trying to take him to court!
There is no help for women like me!
He always told me if I left him, he would make sure I left with nothing. He also changed all the door locks on our home.

Visited today with my partner to make a transfer for our house purchase and had such a good experience. We were greeted at the door by a friendly, smiley member of staff who dealt with our initial enquiry very efficiently. We then went into one of the office spaces and were totally put at ease by the member of staff we did the transaction with. It can be a stressful experience to transfer a deposit, but Lloyds really did make it as stress free as they possibly could which we are very grateful for!

I went in today to speak about opening an account, as I'd been having some difficulties related to identification. There was a lovely lady that sat down and explained what needed to be done; very concise, friendly, and to the point.I'd absolutely recommend this bank, far more open and friendly than other banks nearby, and very approachable as a young person.
