Was told no longer do tool hire but advertisements all over especially at the front say tool hire, so which is it ? Perhaps the front board needs updating , surely you think a business like this would be hot on the heels of providing correct information to the public and its customers!

I parked my car in the Jewson car park, and the lorry was speeding from the left side of the buildings back yard towards me, lorry stopped, driver opened window and shouted dont park here on my way l will smash ur car front write now, watch it...
I was about to spend £5k with my order... Yes i left the building.
Avoid Jewson with all that matters

Very poor customer service we won?t told that they won?t take the cement back now we are stuck with 7 bag of cement they were not clear about everything before we ordered they said they take everything back but they don?t so be carful people I will not go back there again! Very disappointed with there service ?

Why do Jewson try and charge you as much as possible all the time after initially spending £1800 on materials I ordered more sand and was charged £7 a bag more same with cement £1 a bag dearer than b&q enquired about some more product that I was initially charged £19.99 was quoted £36 when I questioned the price they came down to £25 I bought it from travis £18 half the price and I needed 10 tubs I won?t use Jewson again !!!!!!!!!

hired a hilti wall chaser, they also done a good deal on extraction hover and 110v transformer. unfortunately the chaser was sent out with worn cutting discs. being a sunday i had no choice but to use it. The chaser would only cut to a depth of 25mm. i needed 35mm. i checked the spec and it should have gone to a depth of 40mm. i then had to spend a additional 6 hours chiselling the extra 10mm. not easy. I took everything back to jewsons and explained what happened. the hire manager said new discs would have only given me a extra10mm depth. i will let you do the maths..he said he would give me a discount which seemed fair. when i got the invoice they had increased the hire charges to cover the discount. to cut a long story short i then spent the next hour haggling over the costs. it all seemed a bit tinpot TBO. a fair outcome would have been a full refund and a apology. i recommend you check everything you hire before you leave..
