We came into the Halifax in Norwich yesterday (Thursday 23rd July). We had trouble with transferring money and a few other problems.My husband and I are elderly so our daughter accompanied us. We were helped by the most patient young man ever named Harry. We had so many problems but he kindly resolved them all for us and we understood exactly where we were at each stage. Harry was so very kind in helping us and we were extremely grateful for his valued attention he was able to give us!

Simply appalling. Staff aren't trained to do anything. They couldn't even use the app! Halifax simply pushing people online so they can shut the branch. Did what I needed to do online but what would've taken 10 minutes in person took just under 2hrs waiting 10 to 15 minutes for customer service to reply to each of my answers. Time to look for another bank.

In branch customer service has slipped
in Halifax. People who wish to have desk service now have to wait simply to be served this is a highly inefficient and counterproductive system along with the fact there?s only one person on a desk of three people simply won?t hang around and will likely find a better service.

I really could not believe Halifax , I went in what is your name please take a seat , I only wanted to put cash in , people were getting really upset ? 1 hour later I managed to go to cash desk , I have never in all my years found a system so stupid and they say people don?t use banks , there were plenty of people in there, but I think a lot will be closing accounts

Not sure if new system is going to work.
Lots of customers complaining.several said they?d be changing banks.
Just needed to put some coin savings on my account.
Had to wait 30 mins first time 45 mins 2nd time.
Only ever had to wait no more then 10 mins when counter queuing in the past.
Actually felt sorry for the staff as they?re only doing what they?ve been told to do.
GO BACK TO HOW IT WAS, KEEP CUSTOMERS & STAFF HAPPY.

Have tried and failed many times to contact this branch about missing funds from my account. Not one reply from either email or a call back requested. Halifax has gone down hill in past few years . Trying to get a problem solved here at this branch or with their advisors on the phone is both disheartening and at times they are rude to the point where you want to just put phone down!! I am so disappointed with them now as my bank that I am thinking of closing account.

Very slow and poor service, staff with tablets bothering customers who are using cash machines asking them if they have the "App"if you allow the conservation to continue they will try and sell you house insurance, this sales strategy leads to staff with tablets hunting for comission whist customers who really need help are left sat down waiting and waiting,it's an odd sight seeing customers looking frustrated whilst everyone who walks in the bank is pounced on in an attempt to sell them something

Service today was appalling, I wanted to add my partner to my current account, I was told there is only 1 member of staff in the bank that can do this & she is fully booked. I would need to make an appointment & come back, as I am due to go into hospital I explained this is not an option for me. I was passed to 3 people & had to explain this 3 times......... I have been trying for 6 months to get this done & get differemt hurdles every time.
