“Always helpful, decent selection of food, the Post office is good but isn't a fully featured one, if you need log books or tax..you will need to go a few miles elsewhere.”

“The staff are excellent. Always friendly and very helpful. Shelves are occasionally short of some items, but I'm sure that's due to circumstances beyond their control. Perfect mini market if you don't want the stress of going to a large supermarket.”

“This was the very first Aldi in Norwich and having experienced their stores and prices whilst living in Germany, I was keen to try it. It didn't disappoint and over the many years it has been here, IMO the quality of their own brand products had improved and the store is quite quiet mid morning and mid afternoon.
It underwent a major refurbishment last year and IMO, it has improved it.

If you happen to be there mid morning when the duty manager is doing his price reductions, you can be really lucky and get some excitement bargains.”

“Popped in today for a drink, gentleman was very friendly and pleasant. We were looking for an ice cream for my son but they didn't have a freezer selling single lollies. He offered to open a multi box for my 4yr old which was lovely of him but we politely declined as it wasn't the one he wanted lol. Kids!”

“Aldi is hands down one of the best supermarkets for anyone looking to balance affordability with quality. Shopping here is always cost-effective, yet you never feel like you’re compromising on freshness, taste, or variety. Their vegan range, especially during Veganuary, is particularly impressive it’s clear that they’ve made a real effort to offer plant-based options that are both accessible and delicious. They offer vegan cheese, oven meals/air fry meals as well as the most affordable tofu on the market!

There is a good selection of fresh fruit and veg.

The only area I’d love to see improved is the dessert and ice cream selection for vegans, as more variety there would make Aldi an even bigger go-to for those following a plant-based lifestyle. That said, the staff are always welcoming, helpful, and friendly, which makes every shopping trip a positive experience.

The accessability is also good with wide shopping aisle as well as dipped curbs in the car park.

Overall, Aldi consistently proves that you don’t need to spend a fortune to get quality products, and their growing commitment to vegan options makes them a standout choice.”

“I had a delightful shopping experience at Aldi today. I was in the store for less than 15 minutes to pick up some essentials, including parking my vehicle in their reasonably sized car park. What really sets this store apart from other supermarkets I've shopped at is their excellent self-service machine, which reads the codes effortlessly. In most other places, I usually have to carefully find the barcode and hold it directly in front of the reader. However, that wasn’t necessary here, making my shopping much more enjoyable. I will definitely be returning soon, especially to buy more of their excellent plant-based burgers.”

“It's a great mix of bulk-buy staples and fancier foods as well. I spend £40 on a shop which will last me up to three weeks. The accessibility to this shop is admirable however the lack of parking is disadvantageous.”

“Co-Op is pleasant convenience size store, recently widened it's aisles to account for Coronavirus.Prices in the shop are quite steep and there isn't much fresh produce. There is often much reduced food in the evening. Staff are pleasant.Re Covid secure measures staff adhere to coverings and distancing but some shoppers are careless of government guidelines and shop assistances don't offer much reinforcement. I have not seen them police use of sanitiser or people in shop either in the evenings.”

“Pleasant store, a bit "pricey" but biggest frustration is the number of times that items are missing from the shelves. Staff are helpful and generally queues are quite small.”

“I have given this store a 5 star rating and it's for the staff behind the tills, but not for the person who thought it was a great idea to have self service tills. I can only hope the customer doesn't have to pick up the bill for people stealing at these tills. Like walking out with goods before the card payment has gone through, clearly its happening!”
