(I didn't leave my bank card details behind reception during my stay. I paid as and when I wanted something)
sent several emails to the manager as I've had no apology.

The place is very nice. But the staff are a disaster.
Rooms: Not bad, but a bit old and musty

My stay at Dunston Hall Hotel was simply delightful. The staff were incredibly attentive yet discreet, always there when needed without being intrusive. The culinary experience was outstanding, with a diverse selection of prepared dishes that were both delicious and satisfying. Before departing, I indulged in a cheeky beer ? as one does ? and was pleasantly surprised by the superb variety offered at very reasonable prices. A truly memorable experience all around!

My son and I had a lovely time at Dunston Hall Hotel spa. From the minute we walked through the door. We were greeted by a very helpful receptionist name Caroline who was very kind, to the breakfast staff Beatrice and Nadia who were very helpful and kind. All the staff were polite and great. We were only booked for two tonight , the hotel was lovely that we booked for a third night, that?s shows how we enjoyed it. It was quite and peaceful hotel, historical looking hotel outside and in. Next time my husband will be coming.
Rooms: Our Room was a family room with to king The size of the room excellent Bathroom was good size with a large surrounding and sink to hold our toiletry on. Every where was clean. We had a bath with shower. In the bedroom there were two king size beds very comfortable and three comfortable chairs which was brilliant for my spine. I felt completely relaxed and no noise coming from outside.
Nearby activities: We found that the hotel was near where we planed to go on our stay . Like Norwich castle the Broads where we had a trip up the river and Yarmouth.
Safety: The hotel was safety conscious, especially with me having to use crutches. I had to fill a form in, so if there was a fire, a member of staff would help with the stairs if need be? There were quite a few of people who had walking disability.
Walkability: Our room was a walk away having to take two lifts and a walk a long corridors to our room . At first it was confusing, but could see why? Imagine a really old stately home where there is an east wing or south wing, that?s why you need to walk and take lifts. Once we got use to it, it became easier. Even when I am having to use my crutches it did not faze me.
Noteworthy details: When I booked I was looking for a spa hotel. We drove through the Gates of Dunston Hall. To a magnificent view of the hotel. The reception area was plush and had sensible chairs that fitted ambiance of the historical house. The bedrooms were clean and had lovely comfortable chairs. We had two king size beds each my son and I. The breakfast was great with fresh fruit cook breakfast. The Gym and swimming pool was great.

A huge thanks to the team at Dunston Hall Hotel for hosting our wedding in August. We couldn?t have asked for a better venue or service for our special day. Ella Bruce coordinated the preparations perfectly, responding quickly to our queries and requests, and making sure that everything was taken care of in advance. Rachael Kersey did a great job at looking after our guests when they arrived and the big day itself went seamlessly, not least because of Ella?s meticulous organisation but also because the events team Lottie Howard, Jane Hardingham and Rachel Baldwin had everything in hand. The food and drink were excellent and thank you for making our wedding such a magical experience.

Wouldn?t stay again.
Great on the outside but very worn and dated on the inside.
Room could do with a major refresh and smelt musty.
The pool and changing area felt like a public pool. Hot tub was broken. It looked rather tired and not what I expected. Floors were very dirty and pool was freezing and packed.
You also don?t get dressing gowns or slipper unless you are booked on a spa package so we had to get changed to walk back to our room.
Restaurant, called to ask if we need to book the day before we arrived and the morning of arrival and we were told there would be no problem getting a table. We confirmed this when we checked in as it was busy. Turned up to dinner and they said they were full and to head to the bar. The bar was also full and were told we could eat outside if we couldn?t find a table?.its SEPTEMBER and 13c, and we have a baby with us. Eventually we moved the tables around ourselves to seat 6 and then told half of what we ordered is sold out.
Rooms: Old and tatty. All furniture with scratch, dented, broken or just looked very well used.

My girlfriend and I visited the spa for a birthday treat, at a costly price of £240. Upon entrance it seemed great and the spa team were lovely. The facilities however are diabolical, the jacuzzi was out of order which we should?ve been told about before coming, the steam room was filthy with brown mould and wasn?t hot. The sauna was stone cold and couldn?t get warm. The pool is okay. It?s been a shambles and the lunch menu given with the package is terrible. Would steer very clear of this for a spa day, visit elsewhere like centre parcs. Will be asking for a part refund as the massage was lovely. I cannot speak about the rooms of the hotel as I?ve heard they?re lovely, the service was okay. Spa was awful

Stayed in the hotel a couple of years ago and had a thoroughly good time. Remember eating both evenings in excellent local pubs, as the Dining Room menu seemed not to be to our taste - my wife has a number of food issues to manage.
Would recommend to all.
Played at the golf course last week, but coincidence, and was really impressed
with the layout and scenery. Not too long as a course, which is no bad thing, and plenty of interest on the way round. A well-stocked Pro Shop, too.
Would also thoroughly recommend the golf course to all.
Thank you to those concerned.

This is my 3rd stay at this hotel this year. As you pull into the grounds of the hotel the gardens and hotel are breath taking. We were greeted by the lovely reception staff (Laura and Clare) who were very helpful. We had a beautiful meal on the Friday night and was served by the lovely Amelia. She served us with a smile and was very friendly.
The spa was excellent and the grounds were beautiful.
The best bit about this hotel is the breakfast. I would pay extra to have this breakfast. The choice is amazing the the blueberry muffins are to die for. We were served by Kristie who was lovely and a lady called Jane was on hand asking if we needed anything. The service is brilliant.
I would highly recommend this hotel and it is worth the drive.
