“Too much stuff here for me! But this isnt a bad thing for varied shopping. Helpful staff. Car park is 2 hours, otherwise fines. Trolleys are weird and dont take tokens - dont stand there for minutes trying to figure it out like I did lol”

“This is a huge store having taken over the unit next door when it became available. This means there's so much more available to customers, especially in the homewares department, although their range of everything is bigger across the board. The store is usually very clean and the staff are helpful, when you can find any. There are disabled parking spaces on the Riverside complex. BEWARE of parking over 2 ½ HOURS though, as you'll get a ticket. How disabled people are supposed to do their shopping at all the retailers on Riverside, and perhaps stop for coffee and/or lunch too is completely unreasonable. As I walk at approx half the speed of the able-bodied this is grossly unfair, but sadly the parking management company refused my appeal so it's now put me off and I go elsewhere, where I feel more welcome. It'd be a shame for the retailers to lose large numbers of customers due to this but there you are.”

“This is the better store out of the 4 in Norwich. More stock variety and seems slightly cheaper (5 pack bag of doritos £1.25 at Anglia Square but £1 in this store). Will return as they had a good party celebration range.”

“I visited Home Bargains this evening, March 15th, in search of a specific lock I thought I had seen during a previous trip. Although I couldn't find the lock, I was intrigued by a tin of Princess boneless skinless mackerel priced at 69p. Since I had never encountered this brand for less than £1 before, I quickly decided to grab three tins.

However, I was taken aback when the checkout total came to £1.19 per tin. I questioned the price discrepancy but expressed my willingness to pay the adjusted amount. I kindly asked cashier to check that my eyes weren't misleading me. A supervisor arrived a couple of minutes later and confirmed that the items were incorrectly placed.

To my surprise, she promptly refunded me the difference, even though I was ready to pay the full price, recognizing it was clearly an honest mistake.

“A small Poundland but still has a variety of things to buy. It's a reoccurring thing now though, where they have all the self service tills turned off and only one person on check out. And they wait until there is quiet a big queue before coming to finally turn self service machines on.”
