“Absolutely beautiful church. Still lovely and clean despite the age. The tower is magical - reminiscent of a fairy tale. Inside this impressive church there are lovely stain glass windows on all sides. This stunning church is very well kept and cared for with ample off street parking.”
“Wonderful church. Everyone is so welcoming. My son and I have been coming since March. We love the play group they have too. We've felt so welcomed and warmth from everyone. And my son has had his dietary requirements catered too with zero fuss. Which I greatly appreciate. And everyone has been so kind and sweet to my toddler. Thank you so much.”
“I used to and still do occasionally go to their King's Care scheme on Sundays. This consists of a ticket based entrance where you are called in according to your number you are given. You are given a two course lunch, hot and cold drink and you can do your washing and have a shower if you like. There is also God story, a 30 minute talk on a portion of the Bible. This has seen several conversions to Christianity by people you would have least expected.I am most often here on Thursday afternoon from 2-4.30pm. This is a group that started after an Alpha course that I and various members of the group attended. It begins with a Psalm reading, ice breakers which gets us to know people, there's games that includes scrabble, short mat bowling and if you like a Bible study. Then the afternoon usually finishes with a testimony, sometimes from a member of the group, sometimes from an outsider, and it finishes with group prayer and the opportunity for individual prayer. The style of worship here is unfortunately not to my style, but I am sure they mean well and their worship of God is to their credit.”
“Used to attend the midweek lunchtime meetings and occasional Thursday prayers. On this occasion I was in the area for my flu jab so I went into the Saturday shoppers coffee morning for a tea and a curried sausage roll.”

“If your down on your luck this is an excellent resource. Food, a place to shower, help with clothes, appointments and directions to places that are paid to do better than the volunteers (but they just aren't as helpful). I expect everyone will need to know about this place soon enough!”
“Really friendly place of Christian worship, great welcome regardless of age or gender. Good music and relevant Bible teaching every Sunday morning at 10:30. I can also recommend Catherines which is open on Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays serving Good Food or light snacks at very reasonable prices.”
