Overall a great experience in the store. There appears to be a lot of reprints and recasing but that isnt a problem since you can easily choose another copy. Customer service is for the most part excellent, with staff usually being talkative. Caught a few whispers from staff complaining about having to do certain tasks but hey- its the service industry its how it is. The store is kept in pretty good condition, haven't personally been upstairs so cant comment for that but ive bought and traded in plenty of games here just fine and never had a problem with any games ive bought unlike other cex stores.

so bad and disgusting, I bought a used ipad within 2 days I came to exchange it for another one because it was too big and not suitable for me, they said it couldn't be exchanged because it had scratches, oh this is a used one when it was sold it was already scratched, the staff was slow to process, the worst service in my life. damn

Can somebody reply to our emails? I bought an almost £500 A-Grade handheld device from you online which arrived Tuesday last week with a 2cm scratch down the screen. We emailed you right away, sent photos, and it?s now almost a week later and we are still waiting for you to reply with a solution.

I?ve had good experiences but unfortunately I?ve had more bad experiences, I?ve had multiple occasions where I feel like I?ve been scammed in a way, I purchased Lego Star Wars the force awakens a few years ago unfortunately at the time I didn?t notice the yellow print on the front cover stating ?not to be sold Separately? a few days later I tried to return the game due to lack of enjoyment where I was then told they won?t take it back due to this print despite them selling it to me in the first place, since then I have only gone back a handful amount of times, more recently I purchased a used copy of Far Cry 4 and it wouldn?t even install on my Xbox, but most recently I?ve had the misfortune of attempting to trade a few items in, I tried to trade in a phone today to be told they won?t take it because the adhesive is not great on the specific phone and the due to a slight gap on the back between the glass and phone that is extremely minor and is unnoticeable unless you are really looking for a issue this resulted in us being turned away, I don?t blame the staff member for doing there job but I think CeX as a company are a bunch of crooks, my partner traded there old phone several months ago and they tried to pay less because ?there was no charger cable? even though we gave it to the worker before the testing, we both had to argue that we definitely provided one once again another case of trying to mis-grade items so they can maximise profits

The dirtiest, most filthiest shop I've ever seen. You walk in and the smell hits you. THICK layers of dust covering the fire extinguishers at the door entrance which i swear to god has been there for at LEAST 6 months straight without being wiped down. The floor is covered in smears, chewing gum etc. You walk out feeling disgusting!
Also very sketchy, went to trade in a phone in near perfect condition. Staff member took it behind the till into their staff room to show manager and then came back stating that they couldn't take it due to the smallest most pedantic little thing. Walked 5 minutes down the road to another store who not only tested everything and said everything was great, but paid us more for it due to how great the condition was!

They took my phone overnight and complained that my screen was heavy scratched (it?s barely noticeable ). I came back the next day to see if they would take it and they said that the ear speaker was very quiet even though it was fine. I tested the phone before trying to sell it and it was fine.

It's a nice store I go in there and have a look sometimes.
3 Stars because a lot of the things I've bought have just been dirty... and quite unpleasant. It wouldn't hurt if the staff just gave the products they take in a quick wipe over with disinfectant before displaying.
