Incredibly helpful and friendly opticians store. They really take their time and care, not an in and out mentality like Specsavers have been. They also picked up on something that Specsavers & Vision Express have previously missed during an eye examination.

Recently took my son here as he had something in his eye. They did a thorough eye test and examination and removed the dirt. The optician was very friendly and explained what he was doing throughout to put my son at ease.

Absolute sham of a company. I was given the most unprofessional eye exam I've ever had, and was made to feel very uncomfortable by the tense atmosphere. I should have been more sensible and paid attention to the two people that entered whilst I was looking at frames. Both were requesting refunds for their glasses, and being told to come back another time as the "boss" wasn't there. I know he was there because he had just given me an eye test.When I went to pick up my glasses they didn't fit, and the lady who served me wasn't doing anything to help actually fit them. The "boss" came out and adjusted the nose pieces a bit, and they still didn't fit, and they also made me feel dizzy. He told me I would get used to them and I felt so uncomfortable that I left with them. I wore them home and was nearly sick when I got there. The next day I realised the whole frame was really bent out of shape and damaged.I tried to return them and was given the run around, as I'd seen happen to those other customers. They actually confiscated the glasses and only gave me a refund for the frames after my carer made a scene in the shop. They refused to refund for the lenses even though they were making me physically sick.I went back to my previous opticians, which is less convenient to travel to since I've moved house. They gave me a very thorough exam and explained my prescription. I then showed him the prescription Centenary gave me and he was shocked and in his words said "This must have made you feel really unwell."Do yourself a favour and avoid this place at all costs.

Visited today to get a specs,since I had eye test only in May this year ,I just thought I don't need another eye test.This is pre booked appt.I got offered free eye test and Mr Monhar Dhanjal is very professional .I highly recommend this place.Got ample car park space as well.

Lovely environment and attentive staff. Thorough eye examination and supportive advice. Care taken to ensure new spectacles and lenses were what I wanted. No pressure to buy. Really pleased.

I can thoroughly recommend the brilliant service I received from my optician today. He was highly skilled, informative and helpful. Everything was explained clearly. It was effortless to book an appointment. I was seen promptly. The premises are very nice. I will be recommending them to friends and family and will be definitely come back when my next appointment is due.

Excellent service. Nice to find a professional, local opticians without the chaos of the big optical chains. My eye test was very thorough and both the optometrist and reception staff were welcoming and friendly. Am also delighted with my new glasses. Highly recommended.

It was fantastic and friendly service to say the least. I was fully looked after as I'm wheelchair bound and the care offered was par excellence. The whole experience was very relaxed. The staff were very informative about the paper work as well as the procedure, I also had a good laugh with them aswell which was enjoyable. If it was a holiday destination I would go every year. I would very highly recommend this optician. Thank you very much.

I was thoroughly impressed with the eye test experience at centenary opticians. A well structured and very through eye examination including checking my retina, pressure in my eyes, my visual fields and the optom took interest in the health of my eyes as well as conducting an eye test. I have never experienced this before, bearing in mind I have been short sighted from childhood and had frequent eye tests.The experience to pick out my frame was also amazing. I felt at ease, they have a variety of spectacles to choose from and allowed me my time to shortlist my favourites while giving me advice on which ones suit me and why.I also had the pleasure to select a lens that would fit my lifestyle all at a very reasonable price!!Highly recommended ?
