Found a skirt in the store that I liked. It was only TU but it still had tags on and was made of a nice material. It was £10 so I wanted to check to ensure that it would fit me comfortably before I bought it. However, I was told by a member of staff that the fitting room was closed. which seems odd for a clothing-focused charity shop. I was then advised to try it on over my clothes in the middle of the store, which I felt was inappropriate. I put the skirt back on the rail and left.
I went to Oxfam on Magdalen Street instead, where they had an available fitting room. I ended up spending £18 there on a Monsoon skirt, M&S skirt, and a pair of silver earrings. If fitting rooms aren?t available, shops risk losing customers, especially when other nearby charity shops do offer that option.

I purchased a DVD from here the other day and, once I returned home, realised that it had the completely wrong disc inside it. I was not offered a receipt at payment, so no way of me returning this for the correct one. Disappointing.

Don't waste your time on DVDs or CDs. Really expensive.

This shop has a really fantastic selection with some hidden treasures! I found a quality cashmere jumper and a silk jacket for a total of around 20 pounds. The staff were also friendly.

Agree that the shop is expensive but the most annoying thing is the shop regularly shuts way before its actual closing time. The amount of times I have turned up at around quarter to 5 for a quick browse after work only to find the front door shut is really annoying!

The store is nice and tidy but really overpriced. Disappointed to see this has also happened to the furniture store also.

I feel loathed to leave a bad review on the page of a charity shop but I think it's the best way of capturing the attention of whoever is responsible for this Norwich store.
Today I came to the store to look for some books for my daughter. I was pushing my 3 month old son in his pram, he was gurgling away as all small babies do, he was not moaning or crying.
The lady behind the till bellowed across the room 'the problem is, you're not giving him any attention!'. I looked at her thinking 'are you talking to me' but gave her the benefit of the doubt. This was in the presence of around 5 other shoppers so it was a bit embarrassing.
When I paid for the books, she leaned over the counter and said to my son 'tell them to stop ignoring you!'. I replied 'do you not want us to look at the things in your shop?' (How can I find what I need in the shop if I'm focused on entertaining an already perfectly happy baby?)
I just felt publicly shamed that I hadn't given my child my unwavering attention for the 5 minutes I was in the shop, I felt embarrassed by the (very loud) comments of the store worker in front of all these other people. I'm so proud to have a very happy healthy boy but if I'm a bad parent for looking at products in a store instead of fixating my attention on my child then I guess I shouldn't be in your shop!
Sorry to leave a negative review, but I just feel this lady should perhaps reign it in a little.

Ridiculously overpriced for a charity shop. Staff are rude also.

Good quality store and fair pricing as well, but disappointed with the staff behavior, unfriendly and glacial.

The BHF stock an interesting selection of books and clothes that can be pricier than rival charity shops but are excellent quality.Should you still be into CDs and DVDs, you can pick them up for a song. Along with selections of bric-a-brac and jewellery.I've personally found the service efficient and friendly.

Terribly over priced store. Has completely put me off shopping there. Hopefully the person in charge of pricing takes note of the many reviews and does something about it.
