Awful experience. Only dine here if you're looking for dried up meat, soggy vegetables and staff members that are likely to slag you off loudly and publicly when you leave... did report to customer service... they just hope I have a better experience when I waste more money trying it again... AVOID!!!!

Booked a table for 7, no pre warning that there was a limited menu.
They charge the same money for a plate with half the bits that it should have on.
They didn't listen when putting in the order so the food came out wrong, the only redeeming feature originally was them accepting the blue light card, which they then wouldn't accept the same card formate when ordering dessert.
Very disappointed.

Massive well done to the staff ?? they really made a great effort with a very busy breakfast service. People are always far too quick to complain, shame on them. There was such an abundance of food, we should be grateful for what we have. You guys do not deserve any criticism, keep up the great work, well done x

What an absolutely miserable experience. Warning signs were evident when I could book a table for lunch, at one of the busiest weekends of the year, 30 minutes before hand. The second warning sign was the place being half empty and the third was the photocopied menu due to ?supplier' issues.
Decided on a chicken burger, only to find out that there were no chicken burgers. When it arrived it was literally a chewy chicken breast dumped between two rolls.
I had thought the old cafe at Snetterton Market was pretty poor but this does take the crown. In its heyday the Oaks was superb but this is now run down, dirty and understaffed. Makes you realize Spoons isn't as bad as you think it is.

Staying in Norwich and visited the oaks, had meal and couple of beers, service and atmosphere very good
Parking: Free parking but remember to leave your car registration at the reception desk or the private car park company will try to charge you

i came in recently with an old friend, before we were seated we got told about the limited menu at the moment due to a supplier issue, this didnt bother us at all, once seated we sat down for a moment then went to the bar to order our food, teresa took our order and was so very polite, we both got the mixed grill, which was amazing! after our dinner we ordered desserts and we both enjoyed them very much. A big thank you to the front of house staff for being so on it, special mentions to teresa and holly who were both a great laugh and seemed like genuinely lovely people.
we will 100% be coming back soon.

Booked to have Christmas lunch. Arrived to be told there were supply issues and a limited menu. We opted for a chicken burger and a cheeseburger. Had to wait 45 minutes. When the food arrived it looked disgusting and didn?t taste much better. It was so dry and over cooked. We left half of it. If this was all they could offer they should have closed until they could provide edible food. Very disappointing. As I had booked I think I should have been told there were issues before arriving. Won?t be visiting again in a hurry. Can honestly say this is the worst meal I?ve ever had.

I had the Sunday carvery and It was barely edible the vegetables were overcooked.
The potatoes were dry and hard and the Yorkshire puddings were very small and pre made and lacking flavour. I Wont be having it again or recommending it.

Had a really lovely late Sunday lunch. Only downside was there wasn?t much available on the menu & the meat was very limited in the carvery. But the staff were fantastic especially Maggi who greeted & served us.
