I decided to give Bombay spice another chance over the weekend despite their recent hygiene issue - what a mistake that was!
After eating the curry i purchased (should of seen the warning signs handling lose chance and then getting food without washing) i spent the entire night being violently ill, with server stomach pain and inability to keep anything down!
This was an extremally distressing experience and has seriously impacted my health! I will be reporting this to environmental health first thing Monday morning!

I?ve just read a few of these reviews and many are utterly ridiculous - the food is delicious.
I feel sorry for the unfortunate customers with their delivery issues, as this doesn?t match my experience.
The staff are polite, efficient and friendly.

I will defend this place until the mountains of Norfolk wear down to dust; The chef here (UK Curry Chef of the Year 2015) is fan-ruddy-tastic. He cooks well, serves customers excellently with a smile (face to face in my experience) and always produces on time.
I have never waited more than 20 mins, after ordering, to pick up my delicious curry. His aubergine offering is amazing. His dhal is great. The Peshawari naan is amazing and obviously handmade with love. If you're in the St Augustines area and need a curry fix, mainline this. Now.

Bombay Spice has always been a special place for me, a key highlight of my visits to Norwich and a part of my core memories. I?ve always loved and enjoyed their food, especially the saag paneer, which used to be incredibly soft and delicious.
However, I?ve noticed a slight decline in quality recently. The portions have become noticeably smaller, and the paneer, which was once melt-in-your-mouth soft, was unfortunately quite hard and tasted like it just came out a freezer on my last order. I truly hope they can bring back the standard that made them such a favorite for me.

Incredible sag paneer and the vegetable malayan is an amazing veggie option - mild but really flavoursome. Food is always ready quickly. Knocked one star off as I've had some pretty dry naan here but overall tasty and reasonably priced

Second time ordering in a row and that is testament to how good the food was, and how affordable the curries are here. Their Pathia is second to none and everything we ordered tasted good. I've had some really bad curries lately and whilst I don't like to leave bad reviews it's only fair the good ones get good reviews.
