We ordered kitchen units, but the delivery date keeps changing even though we are on a tight moving schedule. They don?t allow cancellations, leaving us stuck with their arbitrary timelines. Very unreliable service & no respect for customer's time.

After buying timber it would not fit on my vehicle I ask a lady in the store can I arrange a home delivery she said yes she helped me all the way through one of the best service I had thank you to the lovely lady and a Gentleman for sorting this out for me

Fantastic Service usually at this shop but above and beyond today from Zac. He helped me to find what I wanted, put it on the trolley, took it to my car and loaded it in. What a wonderful experience for an elderly lady who is loathe to do things like that on her own.

It's ok, sells most things you want for DIY and the garden, so slow to pay not even all the self service checkouts were open.?

The staff member by the name of Kerrie kicked me and my friend out because she did not believe us when we said my friends mum is in the shop with us. Terrible! I will not be returning anytime soon. Though one of the staff members asked if we were okay when Kerrie followed us to the door. The other staff member let us back in to my friends mum when she came to find us.

I just got a £60 parking fine for visiting the B&Q Hall Road store with a trailer, because the trailer would not fit into the car bays. Really what is the point of B&Q ???

Today, I visited their garden center section to pick up some plant pots and potting mixture. This will be my last attempt to save my houseplants, which aren?t doing as well as they were when I bought them from this store last year. Despite being a large store, I found what I needed pretty quickly. I headed straight to the garden section, grabbed a bag of potting mixture, and was through the self-service kiosk and back in my car in less than 10 minutes. This included asking a friendly staff member for directions to the plant pots. Finding a space to park has never been a problem at this store.

There are now more third party shipped items on the website than stocked items. And you can't filter them which is nuts.
Unfortunately the stores are becoming obsolete and unless you are popping in, you can't find anything. The next Homebase - closed.

Visited B&Q Norwich this evening to buy some bits for our bathroom. As walking around we saw a massive rat run out of paint section towards tills. We could t believe our eyes. We reported it to a staff member and they smiled and said yes we have loads. I said don?t you think you should shut the store get pest control in and fumigate the place. He said we have traps set but they come from the garden bit and eat stuff in there. We decided to not get our bits and leave the store as we can?t begin to imagine what it is like when all the doors are shut. Rats crawling all over stuff peeing on everything that customers touch. Can?t bare to think about all the soft furnishings in there like cushions throws stuff like that where they could crawl on customers bit some of these products and take home to use. There could be rat pee etc on them. I will certainly be ringing head office in the morning to report this. Just be careful people.
