Really busy so pleased we had booked in advance..
Order the Balsamic Glazed green, no spinach just a few dried green beens abd peas, really disappointed. When mentioned to our server he did deduct it from the bill.
The honey luganuca sausage were really tasty
Vegetarian options: Our server Aiden was very polite and attentive
How ever did feel his apron could have been a little smarter.
Kid-friendliness: Yes it was children friendly
Wheelchair accessibility: A little crowded so not sure how they would deal with a wheelchair

Was over 90 minutes before we got served mains. Beer and white wine are served at room temperature, or even warm! Décor is pleasant but dining is very noisy and quite cramped. Staff, whilst helpful & apologetic, are running around always rushed. Food is very tasty (after it had been sent back and corrected to what we actually ordered). Been twice in 6 months, same experience.

Over 1hr and 45 minutes to receive our mains and when it came it was undercooked and cold , been coming here for years but won?t be going again. The table next door had 2 starters turn up then the other 2 25 minutes later? Shocking and only took 1 meal off the bill?.stay away

This was one of the worst meals I have had in Norwich. They didn't have half of the things on the menu but didn't tell us until they had taken our order. I ordered the seafood pasta and it was terrible, overcooked and really bland. It cost £17.95! It tasted like a child's meal and I could have made it better myself. We all complained but they didn't offer us any discount. It was just such depressing food. I'm still shocked by how bad it was. How does this place stay open?

When we arrived (family of four) no one greeted us for a while. Lots of servers moving around but avoiding eye contact with us. Eventually a smiling female server came over saying it would be a couple of minutes before they got to us.
It's important to note this was on a Friday late lunch time 2-3pm and it was maybe 3rd full.
At least two minutes more later a male server came over and told us it would be a couple of minutes and he would come over.
At this point there were two more groups behind us who had just arrived at which point the male server came over and showed us to a table.
We waited a good 5-10 mins for someone to take our order.
The two tables who came in after us were seen to first. Both of them.
When we were finally served the male staff member was rude when we asked if we could order food at the same time as the drinks. Dramatic sigh and seemed ticked off we even asked, followed by a snarky reply they had to do the drinks first to which we clarified politely of course, just afterwards we would like to order food as well.
It was my husbands birthday, he has barely said a word and has been entertaining our son drawing (we take our children out frequently to eat in public and they know how to behave at a table which is why we brought books and colouring ourselves and hand on heart they were good as gold. No raised voices or chaos, just happy scribbling or reading).
We ordered our food, specifying if the children's starter could be brought out when it was ready, but that everything else could come out at the same time.
This was ignored, again I'm trying to keep my pissed off husband happy on his birthday and just smile and ignore this even though from the shit service so far he has already muttered we aren't tipping today. Something we always do, but yeah not rewarding this.
The food was absolutely fantastic, not one complaint, we had goujons, pizza, chips, garlic bread, garlic prawns and every single component tasted fantastic.
It saved the experience a bit, but this was my husbands birthday and every interaction we had with the male waiter staff was stand offish. We have never had this before, I'm not sure if he hated children or families no idea but he put a dampner on my husbands birthday and my day off.
One of our favourite places to go up the city, we won't be coming back for a repeat of that experience.

It started well. Got a table for 2. Got drinks and ordered food. We talked and waited and waited, then waited some more. Another table of 2 had left without getting food. Another table complained. Server eventually came over and casually said that our meal was being cooked. No mention that they were short of chefs due to sickness or I'm sorry your order may be delayed when we arrived and ordered. Food arrived around 40 minutes after ordering. Mine was just about warm enough to eat. No check-in from servers to ask if everything was OK with meal. Not sure about going back. May give them a second chance.

Seevice was excellent. My friend thought his meal was excellent- lasagne grande & Biscoff cheesecake. My gluten free mains - including the serving dish - wasn't hot enough. My fish was soggy, it was all bland, and the potatoes were dry. 2 of my triple mini desserts were OK but the third was tasteless.
Dietary restrictions: There are plenty of gluten-free options.
