We have been to Butterflies Coffee Shop on various and can?t recommend it highly enough. The food is excellent and the staff are always helpful although they are usually very busy. It cheers my day when I see the youngsters serving with such confidence. Always smiling.
Definitely a place to stop and rest after looking around the garden centre, camping and leisure etc etc.

Absolutely diabolical place DO NOT go there if you are hungry or need a drink because it takes up to 30 minutes to get a can of pop or an apple juice.

4 of us here to eat 1st 2 choices of drinks no longer available..my toasted teacake arrived with the drinks 20 mins later had to ask for rest of order ... when it arrived the sandwich fillings ... bacon and sausage .. were sparse and cold

Food is lovely - cant fault it.
The staff on the other hand are not. Have been in there when a couple of them are very nice & friendly but 1 in particular is extremely miserable & quite rude. Most of them look like they don't want to be there & really can't be bothered.
Definitely puts me off going in there when these members of staff are working.
Customer service training required!!!

Came into Butterflies at 2. 30pm today(5.3.25) knowing they closed at 3.30.
I asked for a hot scone with a cup of tea. The scone wasn't heated up, it was taken away to be heated.
They forgot it.
My husband had to go& remind them about it.
It was like warm.
The staff were very busy cleaning tables & getting ready to close even though it wasn't even 3pm.
We felt very uncomfortable & disapointed

A stop to pick up supplies at the camping shop was a pleasant surprise! Smiley faces, delicious sausage roll, fresh baked banana bread and battenburg. Even a blanket for chilly knees ?

Don't usually complain, would rather just put up and leave however today was particularly poor, had to return a piece of pie which was dry and had a odd taste, it was swapped but not so much as sorry just a "what do you want" and a "here you are". All the staff looked like everything was to much effort and we were intruding. A real shame as we use this group a lot but won't be coming back to this one in a hurry.

The servers are always friendly and helpful. Really lovely quality home-made cakes as opposed to factory stuff from the main coffee shops
A nice outside area too. We can sit with your dog or just enjoy the sun.

Dirty trays and chips on plates. Ask for sausage and bacon to be lightly cooked sausage still to be pink in the middle. When it turned up it was cooked to death. Not a drop of moisture. Won't come again.

We went for a coffee today and the cafe was virtually empty,no wonder,we ordered two Lattes and it was like drinking hot milk,no coffee flavour at all...we should have complained, I don't know why we didn't to be honest,what a waste of £6!!!!!

Awful service today, lady dressed in black with dark hair, attitude problem, plonked our tray on the table without a word. Very rude and the the bacon baps very fatty and tasteless and coffee not good quality. And hot too expensive now, will avoid in future, pity it was nice.

Low stars for dreadful coffee. Food ok, but had awful coffee there on three out of the five occasions I've been there. On the other two, it was no more than adequate. On the last occasion there was a taste undertone of chlorine and whatever else the taste was, it wasn't of coffee so won't be going there again.
