I'm not one to leave a negative review, but this has to be said. I'm shocked it has a 4 star average when the food tastes like it does. If you are heading here exclusively for a burger, please don't. Go to Iceland, by 4 frozen patties for £1 and they will taste better. The burger patties are awful, they taste like a rustlers burger that didn't get the full 60 secs in the microwave.
The hygiene is on par with the food. After leaving the restaurant 2 bites into my food I went shopping, only to see some of the kitchen staff on break and shopping in uniform, only to return to the kitchen after, without changing. On a positive, the sweet potato fries are OK and the staff are lovely.
Just avoid the burgers.

Very good have not been to wimpy for years but really enjoyed it. We had a muffin with hash brown bacon egg really nice will be going back.

It's a wimpy, not much to say. For me it's probably just nostalgia that I go there. Okay for a quick bite to eat. I do like the wimpy sauce.

So excited to show our kids a Wimpy bar. The food was great, The only problem was the strawberry milkshake did not taste like strawberry. The staff were very friendly. Venue clean

It was the lunchtime rush when we arrived and the restaurant was very busy. The staff were working extremely quickly to clear and reseat customers. The atmosphere was noisy but extremely good-natured. Whilst ordering it was mentioned that it was my birthday and the lady taking the order said Happy Birthday. There was a reasonable wait for the food to arrive given how busy they were, and when it arrived it was hot and tasty. When I went to pay the very lovely staff member wished me happy birthday again. All in all a great experience.
