West Lexham is an heartwarming getaway for nature lovers, where you can relax, feel in good company and reconnect to the sound of the wind and the light of the stars. Profound attention to details, strong ethos rooted in sustainability, community, education and creativity. The historical farmhouses are reimagined with a deeply nurturing eco-sustainable contemporary touch. We felt looked after by the staff and the owner. A truly beautiful weekend.

Unfortunately I?m not able to go because of I was originally due to attend with my sister who is now unwell. The operate a strict no refund policy which I was aware of however, I contacted the host, explained the situation and asked to move the dates which they originally agreed to and then I when I submitted a change request they advised it was too close to the booking now so they could not accommodate - lost £230. None of this was stated within their listing at the time of booking, so be aware.Shame really because I was hoping to spend a further £70 with them on dog fees and book another cabin for another family member.

Brilliantly and warmly welcomed by the lovely Henry..nothing was too much trouble.. Henry knew lots about the history of the treehouses and grounds. We stayed in Tinker Treehouse for 2 with our Mio shepherd dog. We were impressed as it was so clean and cozy, with fairy lights, and bedroom lamps, inside and phone/IT charge points. Coffee and tea provided.. and fridges in the communal kitchen to keep milk and food in. The log burner in the treehouse was great and bathroom and shower rooms on site really clean. There are barbecues on site and a fire pit too.. but we liked walking by the restful water, and took the boat out.. although the oars were not so great.. but we managed, would definitely return, thank you ?Nearby activities: Some dog friendly pubs and nice beaches nearby.

Be careful! The place is magical, quirky and this is why we keep returning there. However, it won?t allow mistakes. I left accidentally some clothing behind, which have asked to be returned. It simply doesn?t happen, because ?they don?t go to the post office?. I find this an interesting take to the customer service.

As glamping goes this is pretty top notch. Stayed in Spindle tent (closest to the facilities and pool, opening up onto the pond) and we (my 7 year old, the dog and I) loved it. Comfy beds, fairly lights and some storage and stuff made it very comfortable. The communal facilities are about the best I?ve experienced - nice showers and very clean (nicely designed too). Pool is lovely and staff all friendly when you bump into them. We ate breakfast in the cafe every day and it was great although the menus was pretty basic. Only opened at 9.30 though and for my 7 year old that was quite late. Shame it wasn?t open for dinner when we were there but to fair it?s not full on Summer holidays yet. The communal bbq area and kitchen are very good though. I have to admit though that the tents are great but we LOVED the look of the treehouses! When we go back (and we will) that?s where we?ll be staying! PS the George & Dragon pub just a few mins away is great and run by LOVELY people and kids and dogs are all made very welcome.

We are a couple (and dog) and stayed here in Talia treehouse for four nights in July. Check-in was easy, we all we had to do was give the manager a call when we arrived and he helped us check-in and access our tree house. The treehouse was very cosy, made of all natural wood and materials, with an excellent ensuite and shower and a very comfortable super king size bed. Our only small complaint with the treehouse was the log burner oven which, whilst novel, takes quite a long time to get going and cook on which meant that you need to have plenty of spare time in the treehouse if you want to self cater! We were a bit disappointed with the facilities on site. For example, they had a badminton net and racquets, but no shuttlecocks to use. Having raised this on the Tuesday, we were told shuttlecocks would be obtained the next day, but by the end of our trip there still weren?t any. The rowing boat provided was almost impossible to use. The ?heated? swimming pool was freezing cold. The on-site restaurant has very limited opening hours and the dinner service is a fixed menu with no choice of starters or mains or deserts. Whilst we had a pleasant experience, we probably wouldn?t return again.

Beautiful place. I don't relax very easily but here, it was pure relaxation, very tranquil and so peaceful. Sitting by the river watching dragonflies was delightful! We stayed in the sunrise treehouse, which was well equipped to cook for 6 of us, but I could say take some camping chairs as the bench on the terrace isn't enough or that comfortable. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the washroom, which was a short walk away was fabulous! Each bathroom bespoke, and very private. The gardens and grounds were so beautiful, it really is a wonderful place.

We booked this trip as a get away from it all break and this place certainly delivered. We had a Monday to Friday break at the start of June so the site was quiet. The grounds are absolutely stunning with lots of little hidden areas. We made use of the paddle boards, boats and swam in the lake. The weather was a little cool at the time so one night we sat around the fire pit which we had to ourselves, it was so warm and peaceful, a perfect evening. The barbeque area isnt far away so we cooked there and ate by the pit. We are already planning to come back as we found this place truly unique. The communal washrooms were amazing, stunning design and spotlessly clean. All staff we spoke to were so helpful and friendly The only little points on a negative to mention are that we stayed in the Gaggle cabin which was supposed to have a kingsize bed (my partner is 6ft 5 so this is important for us) the bed is definatly only a double, also some sort of screening on the windows would be good so they can be left open to let air in but keep flies, mosquitoes etc out, and also provide a bit of privacy especially on the main door. The onsite restaurant was amazing with produce from their gardens including edible flowers and leaves that we hadnt even heard of, but its not plant based as advertised so be aware that chicken etc is served. On that note too , the barbeques that are for holidaymakers use are used by meat eaters, so we were very concerned about meat juices being in there, maybe a sign to differentiate between meat and vegi use would be good. I would thoroughly recommend a visit here, though maybe outside of school holidays if you are looking for the peace that this place lends itself to

My boyfriend and I stayed for two nights in the Owl Tree Temple. It was a very relaxing experience and a great place for couples and friends to enjoy a few nights away. The food available on site was delicious, with several of the fresh ingredients grown in their own garden. The checking in and out process is very simple. You're free to roam the grounds and enjoy the lake. We're looking forward to visiting again.

Perfect spot for relaxing get away. Clean rooms. Could do with small fridge in rooms for self catering. Make sure you book if you want to eat in the cafe. We had a lovely evening meal cooked by Julia. Brunch was OK but limited choice. Explore the grounds as they are quite something especially the Japanese gardens.

A beautiful site in a beautiful location. If you want somewhere to visit, relax and just be this is the place. We stayed in the owl temple tree house which was basic but had everything we needed including a lovely hot shower. It was lovely to hear the owls at night and the dawn chorus in the woods. Food on site was limited without a pre-order (low season and the site was not busy) but there are plenty of good eating places a short drive away. The self catering facilities in the tree house were good for breakfast including hot plate and microwave. WiFi was limited in the wood but there was good 4G coverage so not a great problem.

Just home after a perfect few days in the Sunrise Treehouse. Absolutely gorgeous treehouse. Breathtaking. Bit cold to start with but I suspect no one has stopped in if for a while. Wasn't long before the log burner warmed the entire place. Loved all the rooms, loved the boughs decked with fairy lights. The bathrooms were spotless as was the rest of the property. A long way from Sutton Coldfield but well worth it. I want to sell my house and live here ??

We stayed here for two nights in the Tinker Tree House. We were very impressed by the layout of the camp site and everything was within easy walking distance. It is truly a stay that we will never forget. As a couple who haven't really camped out before we were really grateful for the help we received from staff in the cafe. It was very kind of them to let us sit in their cafe for a few hours during our stay, in the warm and dry. The treehouse was truly magical. I paid extra for decorations because we celebrated our anniversary. It was very cosy and had everything we needed. The bed was really comfortable and we had the best nights sleep because it was so quiet and peaceful. The toilet and shower facilities were excellent and a pleasant surprise for a camping site. We will return soon.
