superb customer service and opening times that are perfect, i needed to tax my car for the next day to enable me to run my business and although the shop worker wasn't sure about the V62 form she contacted the regular post office manager who came down and sorted it out ( in his own time no less) in the most friendly way that i felt looked after the whole time and kept my business running. so thank you all, i will be returning as a regular customer....not 3 stars but a gogle plex-plex of stars!!!!!

The longer than usual post office hours are convenient but this is subject to change without notice. Staff nip out and if you are unlucky enough to need the post office you have to wait for their return or come back later. The staff seriously need customer service training. They are happy to ignore you until their conversation comes to an end, or continue with it while serving you. They rarely register you have entered the shop and finish their stocking up before serving you. You almost feel you have interrupted them or are intruding. They are over familiar with you when they do talk to you which they think is friendly or relaxed when in fact it is cringeworthy, rude and intrusive. They will start a conversation amongst themselves or other customers while in mid service with you and really donâ??t focus on what they are doing or on the customer. One usues their e cigarette behind the counter. I purposely get packages delivered to my work if it needs a signature to avoid going in there.

It seems the record needs to be set straight! This is a great little post office, open at very convenient hours. Iâ??m sure there has been a change of ownership and it would be a shame to let them carry on with the reputation given by previous contributors. Things have changed and I now find the shop welcoming and the staff helpful.

Very helpful and friendly staff who work tirelessly.
Everything you could possibly want from a local shop, even freshly baked croissants and other bakery items on the weekends.
Some of these reviews are five years old and should be removed as there is now new management.
