Visited the store today. It appeared to be in the process of refurbishment, with many empty shelves, many items not available, and no notice was spotted to advise customers what was happening. Very disappointed.

Fair size store. Good produce. All you need. Cafe really good. Nice friendly staff. Clean. Toilets available. Disabled friendly. Big car park three hours limit. Near petrol station. Matalan next door. Walk to town not far. Railway station & bus stop near by.

Just recently we went to have some food in the cafe, and i had poached eggs on toast. The poatched eggs were not cooked all the white was all sloppy and not nice couldn't eat the eggs but the toast was ok.

Unfortunately due they are refitting their freezers and fridges, they didn't have what I needed, but I do appreciate why they needed to do this. The staff are always helpful.

An average sized store with all the usual items including a small household and clothing section also has a big carpark. Used the cafe as well for a cuppa and found out you pay for your first drink and they give you a mug then it is self service and you can have free top ups.

We have to travel about 16 miles together here but it makes a change from our local Tesco & Asda.Their in house bakery is a real treat ??

Place is falling apart a bit, leaks everywhere. But great staff, loads of parking, good selection of fresh food including veg and fruit and fish counter and butcher. Very good prices. Trolleys do need a pound coin or key but baskets and wheeled baskets available without. Good promotions to earn points to buy goods too.
