“A delightful hotel in the heart of historic King's Lynn. A listed building, the Bank House is 5 star across the board. Clean and spacious rooms, attentive but not instrusive staff and great food for people that appreciate quality not quantity. Looking forward to me next trip at some point soon. Great for business and pleasure.Food & drinks: Varied and thoughtful dinner menu. Superb quality. Breakfast menu is creative and delicious.”

“A last minute booking, then a four hour drive arriving quite late.Receptionist was helpful and cheerful. Managed to park the car on the market square with a permit supplied free by the hotel.Rooms were clean and comfortable with no complaints, just a niggle. There was no information pack regarding the hotel and WiFi and it took me time to discover how to log on, then though it connected it was no Internet.I should have called down to reception to clarify, but I was too tired and went to bed.Breakfast was excellent, though pricey. All in all, a good stay in an excellent historic hotel with plenty of previous star visitor's and I do not include myself in that list.”

“I stayed here as a last minute business trip as a solo traveler. The Kings Head Country Hotel is nestled in a beautiful village and in wonderful surroundings. Big car park to the rear. Staff were very welcoming on check in. Check in was seamless. Bedroom was spotlessly clean and warm. The food was delicious. Great choice and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend staying and dining here.”

“The restaurant was very bright and seemed very clean, considering they are dog friendly. The food was delicious, although my husband did point out that everything appeared to be either baked or deep fried! We had a lovely meal and it was the best Haddock I have had in a while. Very nice! The white bait was also delicious. There were not any dogs in at the time that we dined, but looking at videos of dogs happily up at the table, dining with their owners would not be something I would like to see in person. I believe they should be made to stay down on the ground, even if the restaurant is dog friendly. All in all, we enjoyed a lovely lunch and would return. Hopefully to enjoy a nice meal again.Noteworthy details: Dog friendly”

“I stayed at this hotel for the 1st time in October 2022 for a 2 week reservation. I was very happy with our stay, all staff were helpful and polite and our room was super clean! And spacious. It was one of my most positive experiences staying at travelodge and would recommend this hotel and location to all.”
