Had an amazing meal last night, food was perfect. I had the halloumi burger and my partner had the steak. Staff were friendly and welcoming, highly recommend!

Restaurant Review: Nice food, awful service. Ordered beef dish which was tasty but got what I felt was a child size portion. Definitely overpriced given portion size. Service I would consider poor with waiters leaning across you to serve others at the table when there was plenty of space to walk around. Soft drinks overfilled, making it difficult to even pick it up without spilling some. Our waiter obviously didn't know about different types of coffee, and 2 teas and 2 coffees took over 20 minutes to arrive. Latte tasted like it came from a machine (I could go to mcdonalds for that!) rather than prepared by a barista. They did remove cost of drinks from bill due to delay. The seating area lacks charm for an old property. Somewhat disappointed having spent nearly £40 per person.

Restaurant Review: Food is well thought out.The fish and chips, probably the best and biggest served in town. Too much attention is given to door and bar service. Back bars it needs a lot of work. Syrah, Grenache wine, the best I've tasted in town - but it is expensive. Chilled water served at table is a great idea. They should employ coasters for drinks.

Had a look around dining room and we are looking forward to returning for dinner.

Not recommended for an eating experience. Waiting staff were good and a nice location but we were not given even close to what had been listed on the menu for the meal we chose. The excuse from the kitchen for this was that one of the items wasn't vegan, but we never asked for (and are not) vegan. My local friend had previously had positive eating experiences here but is unlikely to choose it again.

A bit of a lacklustre the manager seemed distracted and harassed, despite few customers. We just popped in for coffee and cake at 3pm. We were not offered a choice of coffee, but it was served promptly and tasted good. The cake tasted better than it looked, which was underwhelming. The location is lovely, as is the historic building. Potentially lovely, it would benefit from a bit of a lift and enthusiasm.

Sorry to say the worse Afternoon tea I ve had. No scones at all ,the small Victoria sponges were rock hard and dry and the pastry cups were filled with condensed milk. It seemed like it had been thrown together last minute even though it was a prior booking.

It was my daughters 40th birthday and we organised a family meal for her celebrations at your hotel, the meal was outstanding service was above & beyond the staff were polite and so helpful and friendly, and to top her special occasion off when staff brought her birthday cake in to our table I couldn't believe that the kitchen & hotel staff came through to wish & sing happy birthday to her, this tugs at my heartstrings as it was extremely thoughtful to do that..... I would highly recommend The Bank House

Had a lovely stay at Bank house last Sunday. Fabulous, very clean, large room with extra large bathroom, also good food. The service was exceptional, rare these days.
I would like to say a special thank you to Sam for posting the item I left. Can highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

Lovely hotel with lots character. Great location, right on the water so had great views. We stayed in the cresswell room.The food was amazing both breakfast and the evening meal. Very friendly and helpful staff! They couldn?t do enough for you.The bed was very comfy!Would stay again :)

Service is good location great ?Walkability: Nice to walk along the river. I always wonder why you have a car park when there is a multi car park in walking distance ?

Discovered this gem today for coffee. How we have not seen it before on our trips to Kings Lynn I don?t know!Friendly staff, great coffeeThe property is beautifully and tastefully decorated maintaining several original features. Sadly we couldn?t stay for food today but are already planning a proper visit in the summer to stay and eat, Thankyou
