We have just had dinner at the Harnser Cley next sea and I can honestly say the food is incredible . This place could give any top class restaurant in London a run for their money.I would highly recommend . Also the staff were so friendly and the service was really good.

The best Sunday Roast I?ve had out in ages. Fabulous quality, presentation, quantity cooked to perfection, it was amazing. Thank you. Clean plates all round. Can?t wait to come back and try out the weekdays menu.

My family and I had a wonderful meal here this afternoon. The atmosphere and service were excellent and the food was gorgeous. Definitely recommend the Sunday roast!

Gem of a place at the top end of Cley. Lovely decor inside but we chose to sit outside. Great service. Highly recommend the scones.

Food was far too expensive for the quality. Nothing tasted fresh, sauces, coleslaws etc tasted bought in. I ordered dressed crab which was £24 and it came with a big blob of coleslaw and a big blob of potato salad, both of which were heavily mayo based and both of which felt like they?d been scooped out of a bought-in tub.
The crab was nice, and they offered it with gluten free bread which I ate, but I felt as though I should?ve been charged £6 less for the dish - particular compared to other local places I had been to recently.
When I went in at lunch to enquire and book they assured me they took gluten free allergies seriously - me and my mum are both celiac - however when we arrived for dinner there were only 2 gluten free mains to choose from.
Service was polite. Environment was too loud and there were far too many flies everywhere - we were driven crazy constantly swatting them away.

Fantastic food in a friendly pub. The service was excellent and we were a group of four women who booked late for a Sunday evening dinner. Catered for all tastes and as a vegetarian I was very impressed with the choice opting for the lentil pastry roast dinner. So so good and the puddings were divine. Highly recommend dining here or just popping in for a drink, 5 star +

Had dinner for the first time at Harnsers on Saturday night. We were greeted warmly and had a very nice table. The atmosphere was friendly but tables were well placed to make it feel like having a lovely family meal. The menu was varied. I had the Pork Loin which was outstanding. Vegetables were perfect:). My guests had the steak and the Thai Curry. We had delicious deserts and I?m told the beer was excellent. They had a good selection of non alcoholic beverages. Service was excellent and everyone made sure we had a relaxed meal great service. Having recently moved to Cley it?s going to be a firm favourite for the future. Highly recommend ??

Bank holiday Sunday dinner. Manager totally stressed out and projected it at every visit to our table, despite our attempts to lighten the mood. Bad vibe. They had people asking to eat outside, which seemed all too much trouble so the manager literally just grabbed one of the red outside plastic tables and brought it inside and plonked it in the middle of the dining area, to stop anyone else sitting outside! Crazy. Food was OK but not great. Nice, generous smoked fish starter. Halibut over cooked. Wife's crab pasta over cooked. Must have been sitting 5 or 10 minutes under the lights before it was brought out. Get one more waitress and take the pressure off yourselves! I know that's harder to say than do, but you can control cost, quality and service. When you lose two out of three you're in trouble.

I recently dined here with my family for a very impromptu meal during the Bank Holiday weekend, whilst we were on holiday.
The Harnser, without a shadow of a doubt, cooks THE BEST ROAST I?ve ever eaten (and I truly mean that).
The flavours were sensational and everything was cooked to perfection.
I am so thankful that a) the owners were so accommodating to fit us in and b) that we stumbled on this absolute gem of a restaurant.
Believe me when I say I?ll be back to dine here when I?m visiting the area again ?

Stumbled on this hidden gem while driving looking for somewhere to have Sunday dinner.
Only way to describe our meal was heavenly. The Sunday roast was out of this world and good value for money.
Staff were brilliant.
