We frequented the restaurant and didn't stay in the hotel. Great food. Has a service charge which I don't like - just did't leave a tip.

Stopped by here for some dinner with family. I used to come to this pub when I was alot younger with my parents and boy has it changed! No longer a basic pub.We were Greeted by the friendly bar staff and wait staff. We were able to choose which table we sat at, which was very handy as we had a little one with us who wanted to be near all of the books.The food was incredible!! I had such a hard time choosing what to have on the menu as it all sounded delicious, settled on the cheese & leek pie - it was amazing!! So flavorful and had a delicious pastry casing. My husband had the norfolk pork belly (my second choice) and it too was just as good.Lots of delicious choices on the menu with a great kids menu.The atmosphere was very pleasant. Fairly quiet but it was early on a Thursday evening. Would recommend stopping by if you're looking for a delicious meal at a decent price.

Second visit to the Kings Head as we really enjoyed eating here earlier in the year. It was very festive and welcoming with plenty of patrons on a cold Thursday night. The starters are excellent and this time we both went for the Pork Belly from the set menu. It was delicious. The staff are super friendly & it made for a really pleasant evening for my wife?s birthday. We will return ?

Lovely pub.Unfortunately food expensive for quantity recieved.Even my 89 year old mother wanted more.Service not great too.

Really delicious food in a cosy atmosphere. Very enjoyable experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Will book again when in the area as not local . A big thank you !!

Booked a table for eight for Christmas Day lunch. We were warmly received by a smiling waitress and shown to a lovely table, pre lunch drinks were served followed by a delicious amuse bouche of chestnut soup, then we had the most mouthwatering Beef Wellington, Juicy Turkey and the tastiest roast potatoes I have eaten in a long time. Great selection of wines all reasonably priced and also a nice cheeseboard. Fantastic, prompt service by professional staff. We will be back when next up in Holt.

Food expensive for quantity recieved. Very small portions, even my mother in law wanted more pork belly. Service slow too. A little disappointed.

Very pleasant lunch on the 26th Dec. Lovely waiting staff. Not a cheap place to eat but worth while, as we enjoyed it.

We hadn't booked but were given a very warm welcome. Table service byTy,Beth and the barmaid was excellent throughout the evening. All the food (4mains & 4 desserts) was top notch. Lovely decor and relaxed atmosphere. Thoroughly reccomend
