Pleasantly decorated. Mainly a restaurant only a one table bar area. Beer was good. Best thing about our visit was the young lady behind the bar. She was good at her job and very friendly.

Went for Sunday lunch yesterday with my family of 8. We was greeted by friendly welcoming staff. The roasts were amazing enjoyed by all of us. Great vibes and atmosphere. Just moved into the area and will definitely be visiting again.

Rooms: The rooms have been redone with great thought and attention, very comfortable beds and a bath to die for in room 6, had to make my husband promise to buy me one....Food & drinks: The breakfast menu has a great selection, but my favourite is the scrambled eggs with salmon, I could eat that every day.

My wife and I have been here many times, and it's been great, so we decided to take my sister and brother-in-law when they were visiting from Leeds this weekend.As usual, it did not disappoint. The menu was fantastic, with lots of choice to cater to all tastes.The service was great, all the ladies were great, and the gentleman on shift was also great.The food was wonderful and came out in good time and the Mr Whippy ice cream is a favourite of mine ?.It was also our first time there after their refurbishment, and it was lovely before, but now it's really lovely.All in all, The Plough is a favourite place of ours, and we are returning to stay in one of the beautifully refurbished rooms for my birthday in May.

Nice big pub, plenty of seating and parking. Excellent rooms, really up to date, well furnished, beautiful bathrooms, large comfortable beds. Quiet at night despite main road. Very friendly and efficient

Went with my family for a Sunday lunch carvery which was both abundant and delicious.Food & drinks: Adults loved their meals as did the kids - especially their Harry Potter ice cream puddings!

We were surprised for hubby 70th birthday for meal and nights stay. Meal was brilliant and the room was very clean and warm.tea and coffee supplied, we also had breakfast included in price of room..hubby had full English breakfast and I had cheese omelette and both were delicious.

A table was booked for a Sunday at 13 30 for 7 people we booked the week previously. We got there on time and ordered a drink at the bar, we stood in the way of everyone wanting to get a drink. At 14.00 we asked one of the staff how much longer we had to wait for our table and was told with a shrug of his shoulders 'l don't know'. We waited another 10 mins then walked out we shall not be going again.
