Found this place while on holiday last year - our visit coincided with a wedding party setting off by boat across the lake which added interest. Curiosity caused our return this year - the company has another establish at the Eel's Foot end of the lake, where the weddings take place.A beautiful setting, good coffee and cakes; the staff very attentive and friendly. For those with disabilities (blue badge holders) the walking distance between the designated parking spaces and the cafe may be too long to manage. (We parked closer but illegally undo a tree, having on the previous visitasked if it was okay, and were given the go ahead. On leaving this time we were reprimanded - our fault we should have asked again.Parking: Disabled parking area is some distance away from cafe entrance. Although there is a 'drop-off' space. But this useless when all are disabled!

Beautiful surroundings beside a massive lake. Lovely location. Sat watching the sailing as we ate a really great lunch. Piping hot food presented very nicely. Compliments to the chef for an A* Open pie of the day! Very accommodating staff too. Definitely worth another visit!

Lovely setting and very friendly staff. Can even have a trip on the broad in the electric boat - Gentleman Jim. Quality snacks, meals and deserts. Great views over the broad while inside or outside. A smashing place to stop whenever in the area as the high quality never falls. We'll behaved dogs are welcomed too.

Lovely views over the broad. Went for light lunch, baked potato a little overdone, everything else was fine. Nice selection of cakes. Very cheerful staff. Plenty of parking when we were there. Nice toilets, easy accessible to wheelchair users.Wheelchair accessibility: Compacted gravel from the car park. Ridged ramp up to inward opening door. Laminate wood floor inside. Plenty space around the tables. Outdoor seating accessible as well.

Beautiful view, but service was bad. The table was dirty on arrival and no apology given , glasses were dirty. Breakfast was good, but expensive for small size. We have been overcharged by £8 , our query was dismissed, only when we asked for a receipt we could point this out.
