I've been with this surgery for over a year and I'm very satisfied with the care I'm receiving. I find it incredibly easy to get appointments and each doctor I've seen or spoken to has listened carefully to what I've had to say, has engaged me fully in a discussion about what fits best with my particular needs, and they have a pragmatic approach to care that fits very well with my own way of thinking. This is particularly important for me as I have two chronic illnesses and they do not make assumptions about what someone with those conditions needs or should do. They take nothing for granted. The nursing staff deserve a particular mention - they are easy to talk to, explain things clearly and do what needs to be done without any fuss. The pharmacy staff are also helpful and thorough. Their lengthy reordering system makes them seem obstructive and unhelpful, but they aren't at all - now that some drugs have become harder to obtain, I appreciate greatly that my prescription is always ready and complete when I go to collect. Because I've moved about geographically, I have been with nine surgeries over the course of my illnesses, and in my experience Harleston ranks up with the best, hence five stars.

Unprofessional and rude receptionist. All unwilling to help. Ring to talk to doctor, oh wait. Might never hear back from a doctor and just get sent standard response of either 7pm at night or go up a and e as they are so lazy to actually see their patients

(If you are able to) What a great appointment system to book on the website! I was able to put all the details in and also say what I was worried about in terms of what the symptoms might mean. Much easier for the doctor and she was able to address my concerns, without me having to remember. I brought my mum and I was so appreciative of the receptionist who pointed me in the direction of the appointment system and Dr Sally Erskine whose kindness and compassion was wonderful. This is not my medical practice, but I am very glad it is my mum's one! Thank you.

I find it very unprofessional of you to only post the positive reviews of this medical practice? Where is my review? The review that actually tells the truth about the place. The truth about how I got misdiagnosed by a GP to the point where it has ruined my life and how the receptionist asks private questions about your problem when she?s a RECEPTIONIST or how I?ve seen her with my own eyes unplug the phone line. Everyone who has lived in Harleston long term know what you?re really like as a medical practice. Lazy and unprofessional you have a two and a half star rating yet only post the positive reviews, not only are you lying to yourself last about the poor service you provide but also to the people that you?re trying to help. Shameful.

The most difficult job of all and that's running a doctors surgery. And tough when patients demand attention immediately. But on the whole the staff here work hard to help their patients. I have never liked visiting any surgery and get very anxious. So emailing and speaking to them over the phone has been a God send. Thank you all for the wonderful help you have given me.

I rang at 08.45 this morning explained what was wrong ,the lady said Doctor would ring me. 10 minutes later Doctor rang told me to go down to surgery. Saw the doctor collected prescription and was home by 09.45. Great service

We have just moved to Harleston and I had mislaid my repeat prescriptions.Registered at surgery and within a week I was able to pick up at my previous pharmacy , can not say how much I appreciate their kind and efficient manner in dealing with this problem

We?ve had so many ongoing issues and never actually been able to see a GP in the 18 months we?ve been trying. Thankfully we?ve moved and now with a new surgery.

i am disgusted, my other half went in to surgery with chest infection and having a history of heart problems they were supposed to be putting him on a blue light, they never hassled the ambulance once.they are useless with prescriptions and getting an appointment is even worse, i dont even bother anymore.all in all, its a bloody useless surgery

Very unhelpful with my prescription. They won?t produce it more than 7 days before required even though boots require 10 day?s. I have tried so many times to explain this but they will not except it so end having to waste the doctors time every 3-4 months as I end up running out. Been like this for 3 years now and still the same old excuses

Always available when we need them. Doing a good job with the resources they have. Good to see new doctors on board.

Absolutely rubbish surgery these days can't keep records updated properly. Speaking to receptionist may as well talk to a brick wall
