Food was poor, spicy chicken wings overcooked. Tikka masala - chicken was overcooked and sauce lacked flavour.

Camped overnight and ate in the pub. Friendly staff and good pub grub. Very large portions. We are glad we stopped and didn't pass by.

Decent pub, but not one we'd rush back to. Service was pleasant, but a little slow, and seating is a little limited outside if you want to sit in the shade, and a lot of the seating is also next to a reasonably busy road. On the upside the pie I had was absolutely knock out. Conversely my sisters mushroom omelette was very overcooked and more like a rugby ball than something edible. Prices for drinks and food were reasonable. Close proximity to the beach, and generally an ok experience - good if you're in a pinch for somewhere to eat near Walcott.

Can't praise this venue enough ! Food was exceptional - I had the lasagne followed by lemon meringue pie, so good we returned the next day ! Staff were welcoming, attentive and dog friendly ( they brought treats for our dog Paddy) this gastro pub was worth every penny.

We have popped into this lovely pub on and off for many years. We?ve never had a bad experience in all that time. Allways felt welcome and the food has allways been superb. Our dogs loved this latest visit meeting new friends along the way! I had the steak and ale pie which hasn?t changed at all the many times I?ve eaten it. Same great qaulity, can't be improved on! My wife had the prawn cocktail and adored it! The dogs even got a biscuit which they appreciated . All in all great staff,food and atmosphere.

We had a really nice pint and meal here after a 7 mile walk. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious, obviously prepared by a expert chef. Thanks

We visited a couple of times while on holiday in Walcott, and it was excellent. The food was great, the service was fast and friendly, and the prices were reasonable. If we're back in the area again, we will most definitely be revisiting.
They're also dog friendly.

Had a lovely meal here whilst on holiday. Food was excellent. Try the cheeseboard you won't be disappointed.
Would recommend booking... Think it closes fairly early so bear that in mind too.
