Been here once and only once such a cold atmosphere and customer service poor as! Also other family?s always been in for key top up electric and the machines never working. Can?t process the arrogance of that certain employee picks who they want to be nice to.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Village Café after its stunning refit, and I can't praise it enough! The fresh, modern country decor creates a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.
The food is absolutely delicious! Each dish is thoughtfully prepared, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. Whether you're in the mood for breakfast or a light lunch, there's something for everyone on the menu.
The café also features a delightful shop with a selection of local goods and unique finds, making it a perfect spot to pick up a little something special.
What truly stood out was the exceptional service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about ensuring a wonderful experience for every guest.
With great prices that won?t break the bank, the Village Café is a hidden gem that I highly recommend. It?s definitely deserving of a five-star rating!

I don?t know why this page suddenly appeared on my feed, but we used to go there every chance we got for the wonderful cheese scones. I would also order a marble cake each year for my birthday.
In 2023 when I came to collect I was asked if I was local, I replied no, and was then told by the dark-haired lady ?oh well then we can?t give you a carrier as we won?t get them back.? I was taken aback by her manner and assumption that because I wasn?t local I was a thief. We?re not local - we drive over an hour from Suffolk specifically to this cafe, and in the past I have taken home carriers and returned them within the week.
Needless to say we haven?t been back since. A shame, since I loved those marble cakes.

Haven't been yet!! but I am this weekend... and to all the "nay sayers'' I'm going not prove you all WRONG!! YOU must have been having a bad day if you think the coffee was bad etc or the staff were rude. Village stores pride them selves of both good food and lovely staff... I'm looking forward to it....!

After living locally now for a year. Ive made 3 separate journeys to this shop in the mornings to get milk, and they never have it! Its such a basic item that should be in stock all the time! No idea what rest of service/food like. Sure its great, but no milk in stock in 2023! Come on, its not post war britain ?

Severely overpriced, flat white that tasted more like instant coffee, and when we went back on our way home to complain about the coffee, we were given a very frosty response and no offer of a free coffee in its place! If you?re charging £3.50 for a flat white, I expect it to be good quality and also expect A better customer service response that I was given!
