We booked a table for a Thursday evening....it was very busy so we are glad that we booked. It was the Fish Boil night which means it was a set menu. It cost £60 for 2 people for 2 courses, you could add lobster at an extra charge. There was a choice of starter prawns or scallops (we had one of each). The main came in a large sharing bowl and consisted of crabs claws, king prawns, muscles, clams, corn on the cob, new potatoes, salami sausage and a sauce. The waitress provided us with plastic gloves and a bib (which was definately needed) very difficult to eat without getting messy. Food was good ...my husband thought it was amazing.
Table Service was quick and friendly. Parking is easy just outside in the large carpark. The restaurant is ground floor. We would eat here again but would book on a night when the full menu is available.

Lunchtime meal to celebrate a birthday the food was lovely and the staff were very professional and polite.
A very pleasant time and place to dine out. Will definitely recommend.

Went in and bought a lobster roll which was delicious.
From the moment I entered, the woman who served me appeared extremely put out by having to serve me. No acknowledgement whatsoever since I walked in and smiled. I said hello and ordered the roll and asked to pay by card.
No response except some light huffing followed by ?I?ll need to charge you £5 as that?s the minimum spend.? The roll was £4.95, but I took no issue with this so immediately said ?that?s ok, I?ll buy something else. ? again followed by no visual or verbal response, just a sulking face. I went and picked up a tub of prawns and smiled and said ?can I get these too please.?
The woman was then put out as she?d turned round to do something else. She then begrudgingly held the card reader to me, and I paid. Again no response verbally or facially. I said ?thank you, have a nice day and then left.?
Jenny was busy tidying up, and I?m not sure who the other woman who served me was but I hope she is ok.

Enjoyed my food i ordered today .i had salmon with new potatoes & Broccoli ? served with creamy parsley sauce.mu husband had cod chips with mushy peas & tartare sauce .The portions are amazing but I couldn?t resist a dessert.i had sticky toffee pudding with custard & my husband had the Apple& berry crumble serve with custard .once again portions were so filling.i will definitely be returning with family and also telling friends to try it .Thanks chef ???
Parking: Not a problem for parking .

haven't eaten in the restaurant yet, but will soon. Regularly buy wet fish from the shop and it's always superb quality, always very fresh, and very reasonable prices.
