Had a room booked for 3 nights, and left after 15 minutes of seeing the room to stay in another guest house. We were on the top floor, and the first thing you seen was large spider webs all over the ceiling. Upon looking, there was mould all over the windowsill, on the door and door frame, all over the bathroom tiles and the bath. There was toothpaste or something all over the sink and sin cabinet, dirty marks all over the walls and outside of the bin. You literally couldn't breathe in the room because of the mould.

Rooms were far below the standard advertised with mould all over the windows and bathroom to the point you could feel it breathing. Spent one night as we had arrived quite late but woke up with bug bites a moved to a different hotel.

Excellent place to stay, we really enjoyed our stay, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and warm. Breakfast was perfect enough to take a through to dinner time. Lovely gardens opposite the hotel. Plenty of things to do and places to visit. We will be returning to this place again very soon, would definitely recommend.

Really friendly staff hotel rooms are comfy and clean, they are pet friendly too, breakfast was lovely, really cooked well better than a well known chain who charge double for the same meal will definitely book here again.

Rooms smell strongly of smoking and are shabby. The shower was narely warn. But a decent breakfast, and was very cheap. Overall, it served a purpose.Nearby activities: Great yarmouth sea front.

Staff lovely, breakfast delicious. Big fluffy towels and plump pillows. Plenty loo roll, tea/coffee etc. Rooms ok.Rooms: I'd suggest a side lamp so didnt have to get out of bed to turn out light. a table or surface to put things on with another chair too. Room to add these items as lovely bay window space and be nice to sit with a cuppa especially as such a great view.Nearby activities: Pier, Main street with shops and activities a walk away.Walkability: Easy walk within distance of amenities if able bodied.Food & drinks: Breakfast was lovely.

We stayed in number 5 , and looking at the reviews seems like the best room. We had a spacious room with our own bathroom and beautiful views over the sea. Not going to lie, the weather was awful, and we had black mould all over the wall behind the cupboard. The bathroom could definitely do with being updated. I looked into room number 4 when it was being cleaned, and they had a huge water patch on the wall from the rain. The room was boiling, and it took 24 hours for the radiator to turn off. The bed was super comfy, and we had a great sleep. The price was very reasonable for 3 nights as it also included breakfast, and Tom was fantastic every morning. All of the staff were really accomodating and friendly. There is also free parking on site, but it is limited, a first come, first served basis. The reason I have given this hotel 5 stars is the super comfy bed, friendly staff, and price. I would definitely stay again, but only if I stayed in room 5.
