If I could give zero stars I would. I have always enjoyed my shopping trips to Lidl, however on a recent shop my husband was confronted by a security guard about the small bottle of Pepsi?s we were both drinking asking if they were from the shop as the managers were aware we were drinking them and it wasn?t a problem if we just go pay. Firstly we were drinking those bottles as we walked into the shop when we walked passed the same security guard. Secondly the bottles were clearly nearly 3/4 gone and if the manager had a problem why did he not approach us when he walked past us. Thirdly if we were acting suspicious in any way I could of understood the confusion the fact that we had obviously not even got round to the drink area and had only gone up the first aisle and had started to come down the second. I have thoroughly never been so embarrassed in my life by this incident that I told my husband just leave and we will take our business elsewhere, maybe Lidl go check ur cameras first or even follow ppl for a bit see if there?s actually a reason to suspect someone. If Lidl has a problem with customers having a drink on them brought elsewhere prior to going in the shop maybe put up some signs on the front windows so customers are aware or just generally have better customer service skills didn?t realise having a pre bought drink in a shop was a crime. Will definitely not be returning to the shop ever again.

One of the best supermarkets out there. Very cheap, but good value. I've never had food poisoning from their products, put it that way! Every town needs a Lidl, and a Heron!

Went into Lidl to buy some bits for a holiday with my friends, as we get served at the till we wasn't even greeted with a hello before the blonde women in her 40s behind the till demands for ID in a harsh tone, despite myself and one of my other friends not purchasing alcohol or anything that requires ID (with the people who were buying alcohol having their IDs) she continued to speak in a horrible way before shouting, continuing to demand for ID completely HUMILIATING me and my other friends in front of the whole store. some of the worst customer service I've ever received. Not once did we come across as rude before being spoken to like complete dirt. Completely ruined mine and my friends mood, was looking forward to a relaxing holiday away but instead has now been started in the worst way possible. DISGRACEFUL!

The basket are absolutely dirty and mould in them then they expect you to put fresh bread and food in them still the same this morning no bags atoll for the large bread I left it not the way to make money lidi the management needs a rocket to wake them up now down to 1 star
