Had a meal with a mate and was at first surprised to see they did a roast on a non Sunday.
The beef tasted like the sliced type you get in packets, heated up. Certainly not like slices of home roasted beef. It was a generous amount...just not great.
There was also a bit of an issue with the drinks, the menu says that fizzy drinks were £2.50 so when the bill showed £5 for the drink I questioned it (wasn't rude, was confused) a gentleman walked up and very forcebly said that the prices were per half pint and we had pints.... I swear the menu didn't say half pint and we didn't ask for pints. But, we paid (of course we did we drunk them), but the gentleman's tone was like he was expecting an argument.
Rather expensive and unsatisfying meal, shall not be returning.

I?ve been here twice now and it just gets better every time! The charcoal grill flavour is incredible ? you can really taste the difference. Portions are generous, everything fresh and cooked perfectly. Staff are super friendly and make you feel welcome. Easily the best place in Great Yarmouth for a proper grill ? I?ll definitely be back again!

1 star is too generous. Booked a table to surprise my mum (who is disabled), was met by manager who was extremely arrogant and spoke down to us, put us in a cramped table in the corridor between 2 open doors and we was shaking with cold, got moved to a different table and the manager came over and said we hadn?t booked and again was arrogant and he got right in my face, I accidentally swore and he had a right go in front of a full restaurant and made me apologise which I did then literally he slammed the door shut on us! Again my mum is disabled. If you are women going in alone I would avoid it like the plague as manager clearly has a problem with women alone

The food was so insanely delicious that I literally kept saying 'Oh my God!' every 30 seconds during the meal. I couldn?t help myself ? every bite was pure heaven. Easily one of the best dining experiences I?ve ever had

Went here for first time Saturday evening. From start to finish was, amazing - staff and owner very welcoming accommodating.
The service was excellent. Very busy with nearly all tables booked and didn't have to wait long for our food.lovely atmosphere and decor. Food was delicious my husband had mixed grill cooked to perfection. I had chicken kebabs and rice which was also cooked perfect.
Would definitely recommend and will definitely be visiting again.!!

This was definitely one of best steaks we have had since long years ago, superior meat quality and that flawless charcoal flavour. The meat was cooked to the perfection!!!! Fish was delicious too, with cheesy flavour to it. The staff super friendly and professional, me and my husband enjoyed very much the food and atmosphere in Charcoal Grill. It was lovely to have had a chat with the owner, what a lovely gentleman. Compliments to the chef!!!!

What a find. We liked it so much we returned the next day. The food was lovely. Staff were very friendly. The owner was very generous and helpful. We will definitely return next time we are in Yarmouth.
