Nice to be singled out as stealing when I brought wallpaper into shop myself to get paint match, manager or cashier didn?t give me a chance to present my receipt for my item from another retailer online emails, the product is discontinued that?s not even sold in gy store!!!! Cashier asked to scan item to prove its not sold here. so how does this item apparently scan?, manager checked cameras and embarrassed me, guess what I didn?t steal said item, staff were rude how I was approached and couldn?t even say a word to me when handing my item back to me not a sorry or have a nice day, and this is a shop I go in a lot for doing up my house so they know me by face, rude and unprofessional staff, b&q needs to give them some training!! Next time I will use self service as I bet the computer is more polite! paint department were friendly and helpful though, wouldn?t even give a star for the utter embarrassment caused by certain staff!

Went to B&Q looking for gazebo weights, having tried several other places. In the gardening section I found items which when unfurled presumably had compartments for displaying potted plants. In desperation I wondered whether the compartments could be filled with sand then wrapped around the gazebo legs to act as weights. I took 2 of them over to where I thought customer service would be but couldn't find it. I eventually caught a staff member, who looked fairly senior and asked her whether they had any gazebo weights or whether she thought that the items I had found could be adapted for that purpose. From that point on her whole attitude was mocking, with sarcastic laughter at my expense in front of another colleague. This had the effect of making me feel utterly humiliated and frustrated. She even mocked me for suggesting, in the wake of all this, that surely they must have gazebos or tents instore, mockingly suggesting that only an idiot would think that was the case and to go online and order. I'm sorry to say that I won't be shopping here or at any other branch of B&Q after this and I'll urge others to do likewise.

Went today to purchase a wooden dowell and some wood glue with my eldest son, a young man of 17 years. I myslef am a disabled 40 odd year old veteran with my walking stick. We found what we wanted and made our way to the self service till at which point we were met by a B&Q employee. For some reason unbeknownst to me he became very interested in our purchasing.Started enquiring whether my son was paying, how he was paying, whose account he was using....he then demanded I.D....I stepped in at this point and pointed out that there was obviously nothing nefarious at play as I was his father....he walked away and consulted a member of staff and then returned demanding to see I.D!!!!I'm sorry but I refuse to be treated like a prisoner while I'm shopping! I will not be told by a shopkeeper to show my papers like Im in gestapo land!If we were purchasing dangerous items I could understand but this was nothing short of the worst kind jobsworth and I left without purchasing anything, went to Wickes who happily served us without dispute. Will not be returning!

I put this feedback on trust pilot but forgot lady's name who helped me. Now I remember her name was Val. Thanks for sending me some nuts & bolts for the garden incinerator I bought from B & Q as they were missing. Val was very helpful & professional. Thank you Linda Triggs.

Can?t praise enough the customer service myself and wife received from Michael and Lydia in paint mixing station?.from only a insta picture, Michael with a bit of trial and error was able to perfectly match the paint we needed??it was so refreshing to feel that nothing was too much trouble?.even when it meant taking up all their time for what equated to only a tester pot?.?

Was going to Great Yarmouth for an appointment so set up a click and collect. Staff were helpful in store. Foolishly I didn't check my order. Got home to find that instead of 5 matching pieces of timber, I had a selection of 3 different thicknesses! One of which has a knot so huge it was cracked. Seriously inconvenient and has had an impact on the time scale of the job I am working on. 26 mile round to rectify. Such a shame because otherwise the store is excellent.
