After 3 attempts to get my prescription correct, i have now been waiting 4 weeks to collect my glasses. I just phoned to enquire, and low and behold, they are ready for collection. They didn't even bother to let me know they were ready.Very poor indeed,I SHOULD HAVE GONE TO SPECSAVERS!

Went in to great Yarmouth Norfolk opticians today, for my appointment. 30th November 2021.Had 3 lovely ladies, who went above and beyond to be helpful. And help me pick my new glasses Well done to these staff members.

Amazing customer service from the young girl, her smiles lights the whole place up, not only that she went above and beyond to sort my grandads glasses out.... She's superb

No pressure to buy after a sight test by their optician. Went back a couple of months later with my prescription. Safe procedures in place to allow you to try on and choose. Very patient, knowledgeable assistant who helped me choose. Great value prices, seem to be much cheaper than elsewhere for same glasses, even varifocals. Will definitely use again

I've decided to keep Asda Opticians as my regular optician after trying, a few years ago, Spec Savers in the Market Place (also Great Yarmouth), and Morse Opticians at Caister-on-sea. Because of the lovely friendly staff and the professionalism. And because there had been a problem - not their fault; a breakage with my vintage nineties frames whilst having the new lenses put in - but they gave me a fair deal so I wasn't crying too much after all!I'm physically disabled so having the disabled parking just outside the door is excellent. Asda superstore also has mobility scooters which you can borrow for free.Another advantage of going here is that they're open longer hours, until 7.30 pm weekdays, and there is of course, the supermarket if you want to pick up some groceries. In addition there's a digital photo service, a pharmacy, a cafe with reasonably priced and nice food, cash machines outside, and toilets. There used to be a petrol service and automatic car wash but they're renovating and I don't know if they're coming back...?The only niggle I have is that I felt the testing apparatus could have been cleaner.
