Absolutely awful. We arrived late in the evening from travelling with two toddlers, when they decided to split our family up as they couldn't give us the two rooms we booked. We had to arrange our own transport to their hotel down at lowestoft, which wasted our time and energy and we were not able to spend time together as a family as we'd like.
They were not apologetic, did not offer any sort of compensation and just pointed to company policies. I filed a complaint and they did not respond. Would never use Travelodge again after this experience.

Peaceful location away from busy traffic. Friendly staff. Room was clean but basic storage. For a short break was ideal

Clean and comfortable room, friendly staff and we visited while it was warm but they give you a fan with the room so did not affect our sleep. Good value for money, Would return if I am back in the area.

Room was clean but as with most places like this the room was quite warm which caused a broken night's sleep. We paid extra for the all you can eat breakfast and the food was of a good quality with plenty of choice. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Tired hotel, needs investment. Old decor with outdated bathroom and generally needs some TLC. Friendly, helpful staff. Not expensive, 2 star rating. Didn't eat there so can't comment on the food.

It was what I expected, a very basic room that was clean and quiet. There was a reasonable size double bed with a rather soft mattress.
The bathroom was OK, but no bath mat so you are expected to step out of the bath directly onto the floor!
Breakfast (at additional cost) was good although the vegetarian sausages were warmed to order and were not great.

Stayed for one night, wish we hadn't. Check in went well but when we got to our room it looked very tired and the smell from the bathroom was terrible, obviously they have drainage problems. We asked to move rooms but was told the hotel was full! All they could do was use air freshener. If we hadn't been in a rush to meet family we would have changed hotels.
Definitely would not recommend this hotel.

Travelodge Review
The room itself was decent and clean, but the TV was disappointingly small, and several lights didn?t work. The bathroom also showed signs of wear, particularly around the sink area, which was in slight disrepair.
On a more positive note, the staff were very accommodating and genuinely helpful throughout the stay ? a real credit to the place.
However, the breakfast was underwhelming considering the price. The food looked like it had been cooked in an air fryer, and it went cold far too quickly, leaving the overall experience feeling like poor value for money.
